“I think I saw an ad for Yafa Cafe on Facebook. We are always searching for good Mediterranean food, it's hard to find in Kansas City. Seeing Kibbeh on the menu automatically moved them to the top on the list. We really enjoyed our meals and appetizers! The kibbeh was good, the spanakopia was good. All of our meals were good. I really enjoyed the creamy chicken plate. The chicken shawarma was good. Everyone liked the kabobs (chicken and beef). We will definitely be back! The owner and employees were very nice and helpful. Highly recommend!“

“Lunch date with my husband. If you love Mediterranean food I strongly suggest going here. The red pepper humus is the best I’ve ever eaten. The customer service was outstanding! The kabob is so perfectly grilled. Yummy!“

“I came in with a group of college students who only had cash. Most of the places at the parlor didn't take cash but the lovely gentlemen at Sidos accommodated us very well and even took money out of their own tips to make sure we had change! And don't even get me started on the food! I ordered the chicken shawarma rice bowl and added Tzaziki. When I tell you I ate the whole bowl, I'm not joking. I'm not big on olives but the combination with everything else made them taste so good! I've also never felt healthier after eating a whole rice bowl! Worth every penny! (Even though pennies are going out of use.) Highly recommend this place! Tip them well. They deserve it. Exceptional food and service! I may come again.“

“Yummy yummy. One of the best places to eat on the go. We love the Garlicky Chicken Schwarma and Harissa Avacado bowls. Hard to go wrong with either. Staff friendly and the interior was clean as usual. A bit expensive but these days you really get what you pay for in terms of quality ingredients. Don’t skimp.“

“Was trying to get turned around on Metcalf, Dad was in the mood for Greek food. Pulled off into little center area to loop back on 105th… and bam there was this little authentic Greek restaurant. WOW! The food was amazing!!! A great find!“

“Went today for my Husband's birthday and the whole staff was phenomenal! The moment we walked in we were greeted so kindly. We got the Hummus as a appetizer, which came out so fast, and not only was it delicious but the presentation was beautiful. You can definitely tell and taste the love and care that was prepared with the food. For our entrees, I got the Chicken Shawarma and my Husband got the Gyro Plate and the rice and meat was wonderfully seasoned. For dessert we tried the Pistachio Baklava and it was perfection. The entire experience from the moment we walked in was such a treat. We will definitely be back.“

“So glad we came across this hidden GEM!, Amir Mediterranean. The food was fabulous, my daughter and I had the Steak kabob platter and the Gyro platter, which came with lentil soup, salad, hummus and baba ghanoush. The owner, TK was so fun and he let us sample the Turkish tea and the Baklava, everything was so delicious, we ate all of it!!!! We definitely will be back.“

“Ate lunch with 4 teenage girls and everyone enjoyed their meals. I got the Greek chicken wrap and it was just perfect. Such a great option for vegetarians (I mean, my daughter ate brussel sprouts and cauliflower on her pita and said it was phenomenal). Will be back!“

“Baba's Pantry is an absolute gem. I would recommend it to anyone visiting Kansas City who wants to experience something exceptional beyond the city's famous BBQ. My personal favorite was the cinnamon roll—it was incredible—but everything else I tried was equally delicious. The host was incredibly warm and hospitable, creating a welcoming atmosphere, and the restaurant had a lively, vibrant energy. It was truly a pleasure to dine there, and I'll definitely be back.“

“Food was solid, they have good gyros and the meat and falafel are well done. However the fries are dissapointing, with only a hint of parsley to make their limp form look like it's worth the price. Skip the fries and sides, get the Gyro“

“The spicy chicken was flavorful and the food came out so quick! The pita bread was warm and paired very good with the hummus! The mango drink was creamy and so fresh. Overall will come back and will have to try the magnificent baklava section in the front of the restaurant!“
“This Cava location has always stood out for its fresh ingredients, fast service, and welcoming atmosphere. I come here almost weekly since it’s nearby my home and the food is consistently great, but what truly defines the experience is the atmosphere and team - especially Reyna.
She's incredibly helpful, kind, and attentive every time I come in. I've seen her step in to support newer employees during busy rushes without hesitation-always calm, always professional, always a huge smile! I will always choose this location over others.“
