“My husband and I took our family from Tennessee to CCR on Saturday. Everything was wonderful until we went to buy cinnamon rolls. My sister-in-law wanted cinnamon rolls from the bakery case. The older cashier argued, tried to get her to take the ones wrapped in plastic and argued with her. The exchange put a bad taste in all of our mouths. We have NEVER be treated in such a disrespectful manner. I am very disappointed“

The service was friendly, but the staff seemed overwhelmed at times, which resulted in slower service. The atmosphere was nice and the space was clean, but it felt a bit noisy during the peak hours. With some improvements in service organization and flavor consistency, this restaurant could offer a truly remarkable dining experience. I’m open to giving it another try in the future.“

“The food was pretty good. My husband really liked his steak. The stuffed chicken was well cooked, but the sauce flavor was odd. Clove flavored wine sauce with sun dried tomatoes? I asked for mashed potatoes instead of rice pilaf, but still got rice, which I am not a fan of. The Brussels sprouts were flavored with horseradish ,which I just wish I had known because I wouldn’t have ordered it. My friends loved their steak salad. I say stick with steak! Our waitress wasn’t super friendly and was a little slow.“

“Just enjoyed some fantastic food at Applewood! Had the Senior Chicken Strips. There were 2 huge pieces of chicken, the best sweet potato fries I've ever had, and some good coleslaw. Hubby had the small Chicken Fried Steak with mashed potatoes and corn. He took half of the chicken home. Our waitress was friendly, attentive and very competent. We will definitely eat there again!!“
