“There's always some pain points when changing ownership. A lot has stayed the same, a lot has changed. I tried the brand new carnitas burrito with green salsa for the first time today - muah! Very good. The old breakfast burrito was more of a lightly seasoned breakfast skillet in a tortilla and this one is more of a... Burrito's burrito. Both good, just different. I recognize that other things are changing and, as they test recipes, there will be some things I don't like. Even if it's temporary while they get to the final recipe. I didn't care for the burrito they offered between the original and the new one. But huzzah! We made it to a new food love. The coffee is still fantastic and the staff on-site still remember my name and order, so I'm happy at the end of the day.”

“The Coneburg Grill and Pub is one of those great little hole‑in‑the‑wall spots that completely surprises you in the best way. The service is incredibly friendly — and fast — and the food is even better.

We started with the wings tossed in spicy buffalo sauce, and wow… just the right amount of heat and the breading was absolutely to die for. My wife and I both agreed these are the best wings we’ve had in a long time.

For dinner, she had the catfish and I went with the chicken fried steak. Both were excellent. The catfish came with a special remoulade instead of tartar sauce, and it was fantastic. And their fried okra is something you have to try — long spears instead of the usual cut pieces, and totally worth it.

For two meals, an appetizer, and drinks, our total was only about $60, which is an incredible value for the quality.

If you’re ever in or near Peabody, KS, you must stop here. It’s right off US HWY 50 and absolutely worth the visit.”
