“We had had a long day of driving and needed to grab dinner after settling into our hotel. Once the four of us determined we wanted Mexican, we found this place, confident it would be good given the great reviews. It did not disappoint! At first we did not think we had the right location because it is located within an AM Express gas station. The restaurant occupies a portion of the space. We LOVED our server who is also the cashier. I ordered a vegetarian quesadilla. I have never had fresher, more flavorful vegetables like this in a Mexican restaurant. Crisp tender chunks of broccoli, perfectly cooked (not wilted!) red peppers, and slivered onions were nestled in melted cheese inside an amazing homemade flour tortilla. The other three loved their meals as well -- two had burritos and deemed them excellent. The service was soooo good. I wish this place was located in my town because I would fast become a regular.“

“If you love environmental with great food, this is a great place. It makes you feel like you're in the heart of another country but also while enjoy a hole in wall five star restaurant. Amazing food, kind employees who are eager to assist and absolutely beautiful scenery. I'll definitely be returning for my next craving.“

“Please put ketchup bottles on the tables instead of those pesky little packs of ketchup. I know it's sounds silly, but it's tough to open those little packages repeatedly. However, the food makes upfor that issue. Thanks, Local Taco. Th“

“4.5 starsStopped into Los Volcanes on the strength of the reviews, and I agree it's a pretty darn good taco. They opened promptly at 11 am and were sitting folks with music pumping. Water and chips came out quickly. Menu is fairly straightforward, but feel free to ask what something is. The taco chicas are small street tacos with onions and cilantro. I had almost all of them just to try the flavors, and they all were good. I removed some on the onions, though. Rice was flavorful, and the salsa for the chips was good. Overall, a good lunch!“

“Always a great place to eat. Since it's in a plaza there is plenty of parking. The waiting staff is always friendly, kind and on top of things. I have some food restrictions which they accommodated without issue. Would definitely recommend to anyone in the area.Vegetarian options: You can also ask for no meat on dishes“

“Food was delicious but the service was subpar. We kept losing our waitress and there's were huge gaps in between her coming to our table. We waited a good 30 mins to get someones attention for to go boxes and our check and it took so long for our check to get there we started thinking the meal was for free! We waited on multiple occasions to get refills and it took a lot longer than necessary to even get our food....Food was hot and good when it got to us but the length of time spent waiting on our waitress made it kind of a strain.“

“The best restaurant in all of BG! Friendliest service, fast go orders, great experience dining in. So many flavors of Jarritos! All their drinks are great. Yummy horchatas. The tastiest pupusas, most flavorful curtido & all the best hot sauces. Perfect, huge burritos with the most flavorful & well seasoned steak. Never gets our orders wrong! (even though I have a very limited grasp of Spanish!) & they have 99 cent Taco Tuesday as well!!“

“This was the first restaurant my wife and I went to when we moved to Bowling Green. It was one of the best Rex Mexican restaurants I have ever been to. The only thing I can complain about is the type of chips they serve with their salsa don’t match up. Thin chips with chunky salsa doesn’t work the best, but the salsa is top notch in my book and the ranchero sauce they serve alongside is delicious! If you’re there during happy hour you’ll definitely want to order one of their queso dips. They are phenomenal when they’re 5 bucks but otherwise they are a little overpriced.Wife ordered a steak burrito, and I ordered the Elvis memorial combo. That combo plate was Huge! It was honestly too much food so I took half home. I don’t recommend the classic red sauce to top your food with. It just has no flavor.Overall this is our new go to spot for Tex mex. Service is great, food is great minus a couple options, you can’t go wrong with a guys in Bowling Green!“

Perfectly cooked to medium and so was the baked potato. Hot as it should Side salad nice and crispy with the right amount of dressing. Service was quick as usual. Courtesy is never an issue here.“

“SoCal Mexican food in a small strip of stores in Kentucky?! Unpossible! But yes - it's that good. That's about the only thing we miss from California, but Mex Out has us covered! I've enjoyed everything I've had from here, but their street tacos are outstanding! Their salsas are flaming hot and full of flavor, and they are super nice people. Favorite Mexican food in Bowling Green hands down.“

“The menu and the food was true Mexican style as opposed to American version of Mexican food. It was all very delicious. The only reason for the four-star on service was because the server forgot to tell us that we needed to take the check to the cashier. Probably excusable since it was very busy that evening.“

“A very delicious place to take the family. I have been going to the Scottsville location for many years, and have never been let down with the food they serve. Go with friends, family, or by yourself. Many alcoholic drinks to choose from and they have never disappointed. If you love Mexican cuisine, you'll love this place even more!“
