“We had one of the best, most flavorful, delicious meals of our lives. The katsu pork sandwich is incredible. The mahi plate was the best fish I’ve ever had . Holy guacamole so good. The Hawaiian fries were the best things we’ve ever had. The chicken teriyaki was so delicious our two year old ate almost all of it, and he isn’t a big eater. It was so good he started to sing. Genuinely one of the best dining experiences. So delicious. Just really, really, REALLY GREAT FOOD“

She greeted me with genuine warmth and positive energy that immediately made me feel welcome. Throughout the meal, she was attentive in the best way—checking in thoughtfully, answering questions with patience, and making sure everything was just right. I especially appreciated how valued she made me feel. Great food matters, but service like this is what truly makes a restaurant stand out. “Great start with our waitress Kimberly. Kimberlee. She was absolutely the best. This was my first steak at Ted's. I would rate it as the best steak I have had in a longtime. Forget get the high priced steak houses in Lexington as this was far and away the most perfectly cook steak ever. Adding to the perfect meal were wonderful onion rings. They were as close to perfection as you can get. My compliments to the chef. we were too full to try the deserts but I am sure they would have been great. We will make Ted's a regular stop for a great meal.“

“We were in Lexington for a concert and searched restaurants near our hotel. Nic & Norman's menu looked good, and we appreciated the photos of each menu item. We made a reservation and had the best dinner from the food to the service. Everyone we enteracted with was so genuinely kind. I had the meatloaf and my husband had the BBQ pork burger. The meatloaf was amazing and completely made in house. The atmosphere is cozy industrial with exposed brick. If you are in doubt, this is your place for dinner.“

“At the Nicholasville Rd location- Ms. Ashley took care of us and went above and beyond. She was so friendly, so good to my son, helped him get ketchup, wouldn't let me get up because I'm almost due to have my baby, and even paid for our dessert- which was wonderful. My son said it was the best day ever because of her.“

The wooden booths, quirky signs, and numerous TVs make it a great place for people to relax and have a good time. On my last visit, I came with my friend and boyfriend, and we had a great time eating a variety of food and being served by an excellent waiter who was friendly and efficient. The atmosphere is what brings it all together, from groups to families and friends to people just sitting at the bar. It is always cheerful and full of life every time I come here. “My son and I had an impromptu late lunch today 7/7/2022. It’s been a long time since we’ve experienced service like this that was topped off with awesome food! The medium cooked burger with extra bacon was incredible, cooked to perfection, it was huge! The pulled pork sandwich topped with small onion rings was an unexpected tasty surprise. The French Fry’s were seasoned, served HOT and crisp just like the sandwich’s, I mean, where in Lexington do you get that?! The staff was exceptionally cordial and our food was presented before we had filled our fountain drinks. Out the door just stuffed full for $30, that’s value! My son and I had a quick debate on the way home, monthly or weekly stop 😂 Weekly for the win! Can’t wait to try breakfast!!“

“I don’t know what has changed here in the last six months or so, but it has been so good. I’m guessing there was a management change because now the staff is pleasant and friendly. Every time my order has been accurate and has always included the dipping sauces, napkins, etc. Six months ago, the experiences I had here were just completely awful. I really enjoy that I can count on my food being made correctly and not having to wait long. I hope that the employees here know that as a customer, I can feel the change as well. And that I enjoy seeing smiling faces rather than on-the-brink-of-quitting faces.“

“I was really surprised by how good the food was. It's been a while since I been to Hardee's so I was a bit reluctant to try their food again. The chicken tenders are really good and the curly fries are excellent. They might even be better than Arby's curly fries.

The service was phenomenal. The lady who took care of us (I wish I could remember her name) was so nice and sweet.

“I went to the McPlay place but the other children, unfortunately, were being real mean to me. Everything smelled like poop and the ball pit smelled like cleaning solution. Hey you can't just take a dump in the ball pit then dump sanitizer all over it. Poor me.

Still better than staying at the Microtel by Wyndham. But that's setting the bar low (no monkey bars at the Microtel)
