“Delicious. Try the garlic edamame. You’ll love it. I had the super white tuna and salmon sashimi. The fish was fresh and plentiful. My only regret: I’ve had carry out twice and both times food items were missing. The first time: sashimi. The second time: soup and salad. I’m going to give it another go.“

“We had such a great experience tonight thanks to our waiter, Jordan. From the moment we got seated, he welcomed me and my family with a big smile and made us feel comfortable right away. He was very polite, respectful, and took the time to answer all of our questions. Everything we asked for came out quickly, and he checked on us often without being intrusive.
Honestly, this is the best service I’ve had in my 15 years of living in Louisville. The food was amazing, and the service was even better. Definitely a must-visit, and if you can, ask for Jordan!“

“You can be as safe or adventurous as you want here. We had never tried sushi with beef, but it was a unanimous favorite (ditto crawfish). Other tuna/salmon plates pleased our group. Even my Moscow Mule's ginger was balanced, thank you John Taffer. Skip the gas station sushi and eat here instead. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐“

“This was my first time trying Sake Blue, basically due to family and friends' recommendations. My daughter and I tried the Chicken Mushroom Miso soup, Tempura Shrimp appetizer, Cha Cha roll and John Wayne roll. All was delicious.
Our server was very nice and quite good at her job. I was very pleased with my first visit to Sake Blue. I will be back.“

“This is my favorite hibachi place to eat. The food is amazing! However, they are so picky about seating at their hibachi grill. You pretty much have to have a reservation to sit at the grill otherwise they will turn you down from it. It’s super annoying bc it’s a hibachi restaurant, you should be able to sit at the grill especially if the restaurant is dead and no one is waiting for the grill. The customer service is not great, either.“

“Not only was this some of the best sushi my nephew and I had ever had, but the staff was so friendly and the atmosphere was amazing. Portions were huge and pricing was great. We will definitely eat here again when we head back to Louisville. 10/10“

“My husband and I tried it for the first time today for lunch. We loved it! The shrimp hibachi was fantastic. They had gobs of sushi roll selections, but we didn't have any today. Highly recommend! It would probably be a great place for date night. It is small and intimate. We will go back.“

“One of few places to eat that deserves every bit of credit and praise possible. Always fantastic service. Surprisingly down to earth and friendly owner. Lastly the most important thing with sushi places that nowhere else seems to make good on. The fish. Bonsai has amazing fish. Yellowtail, salmon, tuna and scallop (my absolute favorite thing ever) all very fresh and easy to eat. Thank you guys for about 7 years of perfection!“

“I have ordered probably 50 times by this time. They would know. They are amazing. They are fast, they have messed up maybe 2 times, only forgetting drinks those times, but they offered to bring the drinks to me. They called to say they would be very late because they were backed up and they were very nice about it. They always treat me nice. They put in coffee news when I ask. I always get delivery. I will always order from here. Food is amazing, it's not for everyone, but if you don't like it, go somewhere else. This is my favorite delivery chinese restaurant.“

“I might be a little biased but I get food here more than anyone I know and it's always good. Hot straight out of the wok is always good but please take a chance and try the sushi. It's the freshest you can get on Dixie, i highly recommend the salmon anything or kentucky roll. This is a small business to support. The chefs are all very nice and ready to cook up something delicious. They constantly have new stuff going on with deals and currently have brought back bubble tea by popular demand but I can't stress enough, try the sushi.“
