“I ordered the BBQ platter. I am a foodie person and always looking for quality food. 2nd time visiting. The meats was good and seasoned. The macaroni & cheese was very dried tasted as if it's been reheated instead of fresh. Greens was good. I will not be getting macaroni anymore. 😒“

“Staff was the rudest I have ever encountered at the Middletown location. I also witnessed extreme rudeness to a door dash driver who had clearly been waiting a while and when they asked about the order having been marked 10 minutes ago as ready they were told "We don't care about YOUR numbers, we have to appear to be on time." He looked like management. I turned and left, I will not do business with someone being rude to staff or anyone providing a service to them any more than rudeness to customers.“

“Rib tip dinner was great! Had the sweet & spicy chili sauce and came with two sides and a roll. I got greens, baked beans, and added a side of the fried taters and onions. All of it hit the spot with a ginger ale to wash it down. Very nice people inside. Great little neighborhood eatery I recommend.“

“For my sons birthday, Jacob Withrow ,he wanted family to meet at the Village Anchor (10 of us ) We all have been raving over how good the food was after we left there yesterday. It all came out in a timely manner and done the way we asked , and Bravo to the chef. Our waitress Melissa was fantastic she was on to of everything and made sure we all were taken care of and happy . My husband is very picky when it comes to food and he was absolutely gives 10 stars to the Village Anchor. We all said we would make the 2 1/2 hour drive to eat there again. This was a great choice my son Jasob Withrow made. You did very well Village Anchor !!!! Peggy Hubbard, Somerset Ky.“

“We come to Louisville once a year and ALWAYS make a reservation here! It is our favorite. We have been doing this for over 10 years and I am always excited to go here. My favorite is the Shrimp and Grits and other people have raved about the Pork Chop and steak. I do not think there is a bad choice here. I have never once not had a great meal! Our service has always been wonderful as well, yet this year it was lackluster. One time out of 10 is just a fluke this year i am sure.“

“I love Mediterranean food. The Fat Lamb has some of the best I've ever had. The sauces were perfect and everything was cooked perfectly. Stuffed grape leaves, stuffed pita, truffle fries, and my favorite the artichokes. Chef says source is Egypt right now. I want to go back and work my way through the menu. We did 4 appetizers and brought some home--the appetizers are very generous portions. I had the house cocktail. It was different --not sure what the herb was in there but I'd do it again. They use alcohol in their cocktails (imagine that! When so many are watered-down.) This meal was a good value and so delicious!“

“This restaurant is inside Hyatt Regency Downtown....I ordered a pork chop, carrots and mashed potatoes. The pork chop was delicious and the carrots were good but they were purple in color. You can always get a table either outside or in the restaurant.

“We both ordered Chicken Tenders, they came out a little cold at first but our sweet waitress took them back to the cook and brought them back out piping hot! Thank you, Olivia we are so happy you helped with this! Olivia was very attentive, was knowledgeable about the items on the menu (which is a plus), and made sure we were good throughout our visit! I cannot say enough how wonderful the Broccoli Cheese Casserole is! It’s basically the main reason we keep coming back here to eat!! The restaurant was very clean, organized and we were quickly sat at a booth. I highly recommend this restaurant, if you haven’t been there to eat yet you definitely need to go try it out!! When you get there, ask for Olivia the waitress and make sure you add the Broccoli Cheese Casserole to your food order!“

“This restaurant was recommended and it did not disappoint. The fried chicken, chicken and noodles, green beans and cornbread were beyond amazing. To top it off I had the hurricane, which is red and purple koolaid mixed with lemonade. UNBELIEVABLE! 1000 out of 10.
If I make it back to Louisville, I’ll definitely return.

“It was just all right it's decent food at a decent price sometimes the servers are less than experienced that's a management issue not the poor servers fault they're just there to make money but nobody teaches her trains them how to give great service which could increase their tips by a lot I was a server for many years made a lot of money taking care of people in the right way.“
