“Today I traveled from Florida to Cincinnati. My sister and I wanted to get a bite to eat . We didnt want to get fast food that you could get on every corener . While leaving the airport I Googled restaurants close by . There were several to choose from however, we decided on Pig Candy BBQ this restaurant did not disappoint. The food was amazing ( we had the special which was the brisket sandwich) this sandwich was very tender and full of flavor. If you are just traveling through or a local or feel up to a drive this is definitely worth your time .The staff knows what customer service means . All around Great food and service. A MUST STOP....... THANK YOU !!“

“City BBQ Eastgate, just catered our National business event for 150 people. They could not have done a better job. From Jason, who helped pick out a menu and arrange everything. To Hillary and LeBron, who set up, served a full pig plus more, cleaned up, and even helped us break down our event at the end of the evening. They all took a huge part in making our event spectacular! Thank you so much.“
“We have the Sweets and Meats BBQ truck come to our office as a thank you to our staff multiple times, and the food is terrific! The staff is always friendly, and the Strawberry Crunch cake was divine! I would recommend the collard greens, brisket and mac and cheese.“
“I have been staying at The Phelps for business. I frequently get in late, and quite frankly do not feel like going out. The Phelps Bar is the perfect solution. I have been staying at The Phelps Hotel on and off for roughly a month so far. I have had most of their menu items and have yet to have one that has not been excellent. They recently changed their food and drink menu, so there are many new items to try. They have an outstanding "Signature Drink" Menu. My favorite is the Fig & Rosemary Old Fashioned that is hands down the very best Old Fashioned I have had anywhere, and that includes The Greenbrier Resort. The staff are all amazing and help to make the experience even better. My hat is off to Mark (I think he is the manager), Kat and Tynisa who run the bar, and David the cook. If you find yourself in the Downtown Cincinnati area close to the stadiums, then you really should try The Phelps Bar. You will not be disappointed.“

“Our whole family loves City BBQ! Even my pickiest eaters. Everything is scrumptious, the turkey, cornbread, sausage , chicken....🤤. But of all things, do not sleep on their desserts, the chocolate cake is often sold out, for good reason.
Service is always genuine, polite and fast. The Highland Heights location hosts fund raisers regularly for community schools, programs, fire departments, etc., they work hard to give back.
Get the app and you'll always have a deal in your pocket, free desserts, five dollars off.“

“My windows were half down, and Tyler Childers was making a ruckus through my speakers, when the smell of BBQ washed through my car and across my face.
I had just finished a round of crisp, evening, fall golf in Kenton County. The traffic home to Bellevue took longer than usual because 471 North was shut down from the fire under the bridge over Halloween night. I detoured to Route 9 off of I275, heading into the south end of Newport. By the time I was turning onto Monmouth street, the last bit of daylight was slipping away. Street lights were just being triggered from the evening shadows to light up the streets for traffic and pedestrians.
As I passed Webb’s, that aroma of fresh BBQ resonated with me more than the radio waves transmitting Tyler. I immediately pulled over, parking on 9th, right out front of the old Newport establishment. I have wanted to visit Webbs for a long time, but they are opened limited days/hours. So i always forget that they are an option. Luckily the traffic patterns brought me by while they were open! I was going to get some carryout. And a lot of it.
Webbs is in a space at 115 E. 9th Street that used to house another iconic Newport restaurant called Detroit Joes. I used to go there decades ago with my father for wings and ribs. But I hadn’t been into the building since Webbs took over. It brought back warm memories stepping into a familiar space.
Walking in the door I was greeted with friendly, smiling faces. There were a handful of regulars sitting at the bar enjoying cold beers and hot supper while making small talk with each other and with the owners. The walls were covered in old signs and handwritten signatures of hundreds of previous patrons. My order was taken and delivered promptly. It was 6 Smoked Wings, a Half Rack of Ribs, a Pulled Pork Sandwich, Mac n Chz, and Baked Beans. The prices were more than reasonable. And the serving sizes were more than generous.
Im usually not a “Baked Beans guy”. But I do remember having Webbs Beans at a catered event some years ago and really liking them. My memory didn’t let me down this time. Their Baked Beans are sweet, spicy, and delicious. They have chunks of peaches and peppers just like I remembered them. There is almost a hint of Stuffed Bell Pepper taste that makes them unique and memorable. The Mac n Chz gave me all of the fall comfort that I was looking for. It was made with real cheese and real flavor. The cheese was thick and stuck stubbornly to the elbow macaroni when prying out each bite with my fork. The Smoked Wings were perfectly smokey with a wonderful texture. They were full of flavor and did not need a sauce. The Ribs were falling off the bone and fantastic. They really were some of the best Ribs that I’ve had in the NKY/Cincy area. I loved dipping them into the zesty vinegar sauce. If you like vinegar sauces, this one will deliver!! It’s really hard to find a good sauce like this in the area. I also enjoyed this sauce on the Pulled Pork Sandwich. The pulled pork soaked up that sauce and complimented the smoky flavor extremely well. The Hickory BBQ sauce was a winner too. It had a lot of sweet & tangy flavor. Too many BBQ joints accompany their dishes with tired and flavorless sauce options. I was excited to see that Webbs puts the same effort into their sauces as they do their smoked meats. I want to emphasize that none of their dishes actually need a sauce. Everything is already packed full of flavor. But if you are a sauce person, like me, then your taste buds will be rewarded. I tried both sauces on all the dishes. They both complimented all the dishes perfectly. That vinegar sauce was the real winner for me though! There is a lot more I want to try from Webbs. But I would highly recommend anything from the order that I have just highlighted in this review. My favorite dish would probably be the Smoked Ribs with the vinegar sauce! Enjoy!“

“Tried this out because of a picture of the Brussel Sprouts I had seen in Google maps. They did not disappoint! I also had the Brisket Cheese Melt. The beverage selection was full and varied but I had to stick to water this time.
The food and service was great. Atmosphere is nothing spectacular just the your average bar feel.
Parking: It's s HUGE lot that borders on Jungle Jim's parking lot.“

“Long horn was good as usual. Busy on a Friday night had a party of 12 waited 10 minutes or so. Strange we got two servers and they split the table up it was very confusing because I felt like when we did catch the attention of one of the two they seemed annoyed we were asking for things like refills or napkins. But never the less paid the bill and left. It was a good spot for a family birthday dinner.“

“Hubby & I just had an early Sunday dinner here ( 1st time eating here ) We enjoyed the 3 meat sampler. This came with brisket, four delicious wings and pulled pork. Sides-Mac and cheese, baked beans and roasted brussel sprouts, which I had never had before, & Texas toast. everything was absolutely delicious! the brisket was tender and there was nearly zero fat. I'm not a fan of bone-in wings but these were excellent! They also have delicious sauces to choose from. I highly recommend next time you're in the mood for barbecue in/around Alexandria, check out Four Mile Pig!!!“
