“I had dinner here last weekend and honestly, everything was phenomenal. The heirloom tomato salad was refreshing on a summer evening. Their cod was tender, and the accompanying chimichurri sauce was divine that I could've slurped it. If you love bananas, you must order the banana bliss for dessert.

Now on to the not so good, which was unfortunate, as the service overall from everyone was friendly. However, the evening was nearly ruined by the waiter who had an extremely offensive body odor. I understand that while serving, you may work up a sweat. But if you're larger, you have to take extra measures (besides a soapy shower), such as wearing an undershirt, anti-perspirant, and men's body powder.

I won't let that deter me and will definitely visit again because Alara is truly a wonderful restaurant with a beautiful aesthetic and food to match.“

“Thai Pavilion is one of the best restaurants in Downtown Covington, as it offers a vast menu paired with a variety of drink options. Their Kao Soi is highly recommended for its delicate flavors and heartiness. The staff is very friendly and attentive, which made the experience more enjoyable!“

“Hard working staff, omelets made to order including egg white ones, you add 4 ingredients plus 1 meat (veggie burger, turkey bacon, bacon, sausage) for $15.99 which comes with 2 slices of toast and hash browns. Some meat like bacon is baked in the brick oven so it’s a nice added touch. Kind of pricey but the omelet was good and plenty to eat. The place is kept clean with someone always going around cleaning tables and clearing them. They have all kinds of drinks including Starbucks coffee. The view is beautiful right inside the Westin hotel ground floor lobby ish but it’s kind of chilly. I wish it were a bit warmer to enjoy my hot food bc it got cold fast. Other than the prices (to be expected inside a hotel) and the chilly atmosphere, it’s a great place and space and lots of space. And very nice staff.

“We are from out of town and decided on pizza. After looking at yelp stars we decided to come here. Everything was great and the service was amazing. My five year old ask him for ranch and after we were done he packed up our pizza and we left. Got back to our hotel and he threw in extra ranch for her. This was our first visit to their Covington location and we had great interactions with multiple members of their waitstaff and manager throughout our meal. They even remade our pizza without prompt because it wasn’t up to their normal “standard” but was still great. We appreciate the extra steps they took to make our dinner service exceptional.“

“I get my salad every week at Lucky Dog, Murphy my dog is always welcome, they are good people. everything in my salad is always fresh and reasonably priced. The salads have a-lot of filling protein and flavor. If you eat downtown regularly you know a fresh salad with enough filling protein is hard to find for $7. Lucky Dog makes my everyday work life bearable. Also they sell the biggest fountain drink for the lowest price. and cheesecake. 🏆😉They have my loyalty“

And I mean sometimes it's so thin it feels like the pizza is gonna disintegrate when I pick it up. I feel like this has happened more often than not this semester, and today was especially bad. The crust on about 1/3 of my slice was as thin as the cheese.“
