The Mezze Board was fantastic with all of the Mediterranean dips and veggies , The Shrimp Cossoult is to die for . The braised lamb /risotta/feta explodes with every bite. The best of all is that it was our first time dining and and I felt like family with the service from Nimo and Bryce , Coming back next week for the Swordfish . 6 stars !!!!!“

“I’m not a wine person but my wife wanted to try a wine bar and we decided to come to Skeleton Root. When talking to the staff I informed them of my lack of wine knowledge. They were very helpful and professional. They recommended a couple of different wines which we tried and to my astonishment, I enjoyed a couple of their wines. “My husband and I visited Seasons 52 Cincinnati last year for our anniversary and had such a great experience that we came back to celebrate again this year. “1215 has a great atmosphere. The coffee, tea, wine, and cocktail selection are what you want from a later night wine and coffee bar. Loved the ambiance. Service was great. It's very cozy and warm. I can't wait to visit once the weather cools. I highly recommend.

The only thing I found interesting was that I wasn't able to tap to pay. This is not particular to 1215. There was no parking app or ability to tap to pay for parking either. I just relocated from another city and rarely carried cards or cash.“

“The Capital Grille was fabulous. From arrival to leaving, they provided exceptional service. Upon arrival, they greeted us with a smile, and there was no wait. The table was ready and they even accommodated our large party with a few unexpected people.
The waiter Paoblo was amazing. He provided us with all the chef's specials and provided a detailed review of the menu.
He was very attentive to our needs. The manager on duty was very professional and pleasant and ensured we were taken care of. As we celebrated three birthdays, it was a pleasant and memorable evening.

“One of my favorite places to eat. I love the food. Wine selection is good. Service is good.
I have two issues with this place.
#1. They charge $10 cork fee per bottle of wine on everyday but Thursday. That’s a crime. They claim that their wine is cheaper than other places so it justifies the cork fee, but that’s simply not true. I can get most of them cheaper at Krogers. I don’t agree with being penalized $10 per bottle to drink it there. Therefore I rarely go there any longer unless it’s a Thursday. They could at least cut it back to one $10 fee per night.
#2. When they have a live band they bring the tip jar around to each table and expect you to tip the band. I know where the tip jar is and I usually tip the band, but I don’t like how they somewhat force you to tip them by bringing it to your table. Especially when I’m trying to eat my food.

The atmosphere is dark and moody and lends itself well to the curated music and extensive vinyl collection. My only critique is the overpowering fragrance of the bar. You can get whiffs from down the street and I can’t help but taste it in my drink and water. Dial that fragrance back and it’s a 10 out of 10!!!“

“I have no idea why it took me so long to give Forno Osteria & Bar a try. I guess I don't get down to East Hyde Park very often, even though it's only barely over a mile from home. It will definitely not be long before a return visit. Be sure to book an online reservation before going. We did and were treated to an outdoor table of our choice.

To start my wife and I split the arugula salad with golden raisins, capers, shaved cauliflower, pistachios, citronette dressing, and parmigiano reggiano ($13). The serving was very generous and the salad was full of flavor. I loved the crunch of the pistachios and cauliflower.

I ordered the basil and ricotta tortelloni served with pomodoro sauce, parigiano reggiano, and basil oil ($25). The freshly made pasta is stuffed full and cooked perfectly. The sauce was rich to complement the subtle flavor of ricotta.

My wife ordered the asparagus gnudi "Cacio e Pepe" ($21). Gnudi is similar to gnocchi, but the dumplings are made of ricotta cheese and semolina instead of potato flour. These were very light and served in a Vermont butter sauce with asparagus. It was a very flavorful dish, despite the simple presentation. I think I enjoyed the tortelloni better, but both are worthy of ordering again on a future visit.“
