“Look I am a river city fat kid I can eat some food. The big mushroom burger is a feast in itself. They almost need to make it into a food challenge. This thing is legit. Perfectly cooked with ample amounts of onions and mushrooms. I recommend to everyone. If you go anywhere else for a burger you wasted gas driving by this place. I received my food quickly and it was piping hot.“

“If you ask how I want the burger cooked, you got to deliver. I said medium, and I got well done, not burnt or dry though. It was still juicy and seasoned fine. It was just "eh". A $16 burger should make want to come back. Fries were seasoned well and crispy.“

“O'Bryons is the epitome neighborhood bar and restaurant in Newport. Service is courteous, friendly and timely. The bartender is very helpful and knowledgeable of the menu and drinks. Food is above average while being prepared well and fresh. The chicken wrap and chicken wings were tasty. Prices are reasonable for the area. Parking is a bit of a challenge with it all being street parking. Overall a good experience and worth trying out.“

Although fun, it also means you're perhaps paying more for a tastier drink ;) but in general, all of the prices are reasonable anyways! “So, unlike every other Cincinnatian, I have mixed feelings on the pizza. It's definitely very yummy! But it doesn't blow me away. HOWEVER the jalapeño poppers are literally to die for. They are some of the most delicious things I have ever eaten. Especially when they have jus the right amount of heat, with a crispy shell on the outside. Sometimes I go here just to get the poppers after a long day. The servers and hosts are always friendly. What makes this 4 stars for me is I just don't love bars or restaurants with this type of vibe. It isn't my preference. “This is a west side staple, very basic yet solid bar restaurant and grill that is not overly pretentious, yet is quiet with great food and insanely good prices. We will absolutely be back. The parking lot is small and constantly packed which is just a sign that they are successful for a reason. We really enjoyed the fish And chips special and had great service. The place is clean even if it’s not fancy, come here for cheap good food and cheap drinks! They even have dessert. Above average bar food at stellar prices“

“I went to lunch with a large family group. There was plenty of space for all of us and it was quiet enough that we could all talk and hear the conversation. I wasn't very hungry so I just got the loaded fries appetizer. The toppings were good but the fries themselves were a bit over cooked and chewy. I did get to try a bite of the fish though and that was really tasty. If I'm ever on that side of town again I would absolutely order the fish and chips.“

Owner is named Dirk and is very friendly and personable. He seems to hire skilled bartenders, too. Has a good selection of craft beers in stock as well as the usual stuff. Reasonable prices and great service. Plenty of TV's to watch whatever game interests you. They have some arcade games, a couple of pool tables, and a few dart games set up. They have a nice outdoor patio and sand volleyball set up out back. There's plenty of parking nearby and out front. The only negative thing I can say is that the bathrooms could use cleaning more. Sounds like any bar bathroom, though. Other than that, I love going here with friends on the weekends when we can all get together.“
