“This place is a hidden gem. The food is absolutely delicious. Great west coast style Mexican food in Florence. The nachos are huge and priced well for a massive platter of nachos. Try going Friday and Saturday for dinner. They also are a dance club open til late with tacos.“
“Our first night out after a newborn, we attended a Wednesday Trivia night at Towns End. This was our first time here and will absolutely be back! First and foremost, the staff are the friendliest people! I felt like I knew Josie (bartender/waitress) forever. She just made my hubby and I feel super welcome and she was so happy to help me celebrate being a new mom and getting a night out. Gary also a bartender/waiter is AWESOME!! He is so easy to talk with, gives great food and drink suggestions and you can just tell how much he loves his employer.which makes me have so much respect for the owner. Happy employees = a great owner/great boss. The building itself looks small from the outside but when you walk in, the owner did a fantastic job utilizing the space. I didn’t feel at anytime I was on top of anyone. There are arcades which my husband and his friends love! Plenty of tables and bar space. Additional seating outside as well. Super nice space. A nice touch is that there is a large self serve ice cold water at the bar with clean plastic cups. I love that this is offered. It’s nice you don’t have to wait for anyone to serve you water. Next I want to touch on how fun Trivia was! The trivia host was awesome and had such great questions for the audience. We played The Office trivia (and won ?). He gave out great fun prizes too! Lastly, something I think is important for women (especially myself). The ladies room was so clean- SPOTLESS and offered any necessities a woman would need. I can appreciate this just because I’ve been to nice restaurants/bars and their bathrooms are disgusting. I highly recommend checking out Towns End!“
“Semi-tapas style small plates, fantastic mixology, and wonderful service. They can do tasty mocktails or elegant mocktails with equal skill. We will absolutely be back.Vegetarian options: There are several items available. Tonight we had a very good agadashi tofu and carrot/beet bisque plus bread and sweet potato fries.“
“While on spring break from Raleigh, North Carolina, my son and I made it a priority to visit Nolia Kitchen after hearing about it and Chef Jeff Harris' James Beard Semi Finalist. Located in the vibrant Over the Rhine neighborhood, known for its local restaurants and shopping, we planned our early dinner around this exciting hotspot. As we arrived at Nolia around 5pm, we were warmly greeted and promptly seated. The host was both kind and efficient, while our server impressed us with their sweet demeanor and extensive knowledge of the menu. Though we had already perused the menu, our server still took the time to share some additional offerings. With our choices in mind, we placed our orders, which included the following:- Gulf Oysters (6) from both the East and West Coast- Cauliflower- River CatfishTo complement our meal, I indulged in the delightful Goretti Park cocktail. Each dish was served with care and precision. My son particularly enjoyed the East Coast Oysters, while the cauliflower, accompanied by raisins and honey (we asked for it on the side), left a remarkable impression. Personally, my favorite was the catfish, paired with crawfish and grits. The combination of flavors was truly exceptional.During our visit, we were fortunate enough to meet Chef Jeff himself. He graciously shared his vision for the restaurant, adding to the overall amazing experience.Thank you, Chef Jeff Harris and team, for providing us with a memorable dining experience at Nolia Kitchen, worthy of your James Beard recognition.“
“Service and food was really good. Favorite was the flatbread pizza. Obviously a great wine selection. Server was friendly, engaging, and helpful in selecting items. The special this evening was gnocchi was excellent. We always enjoy going to this restaurant.“
“Amazing venue. Fun, friendly, and entertaining. Second Sight's bourbon is amazing, as well as other unexpected and unique spirits, like absinthe and hazelnut liqeuer. Bar tenders are always welcoming and the owners Carus and Rick are super friendly and informative.“
“Everything was very good. Between us we had ribeye with truffle butter and beef stroganoff. A twice baked potato was added along with drinks. The place was busy with everyone downtown for the evening and the staff handled it smoothly. Overall, a good experience and will return.“
“This place has become our dinner out go to. The food is always super fresh and service is by people who actually like what they're doing and treat all of us very well. Highly recommend the Pickins ad a start. The rotating sauces are always good. I think by now we've had just about everything on the menu and nothing dissapoints!“
“Overall we had a wonderful meal at Rosie's. The salmon oreganata was delicious- perfectly cooked salmon, tender and flavorful. My husband had the rigatoni vodka. The pasta was cooked well and sauce had pleasant warmth from the chilis. We also had the crispy potatoes which were also quite good. Everything was portioned well and we're both full by the end (still had room for a scoop of vanilla gelato though- definitely recommend). We will be adding Rosie's to our rotation of Cincy date nights.“
“Popped in before dinner for drinks on Friday night. Parked right out front of the spot and breezed in. After being warmly greeted by the host, we parked at the bar. The place is beautiful. Love the design choices and the blue notes. A big table carved into the back wall looks great for a group. The drinks take awhile for the staff to make, so prepare yourself. However the wait is definitely worth it. Loved every drink we had. The French 75 was light and crisp. The Peardon my French was tasty and not overly sweet. I'm not a huge rum person but would highly recommend the hibernation sour. The bit of salt and spice was fantastic. Can't wait to come back. I want to try their daytime coffee and food menu.“
“Atmosphere 9/10Amazing open air cocktail bars with 4 different lounge area and completely different vibes. There is something for everyone. A lot of international elements (signs from all over the world) and cool design elements. Also a nice bar in the middle of the main room.Drinks 8/10Decent signature menu, containing classic cocktails with a “twist”. Espresso Martini tasted great! I missed a nice coaster thoughService 9.5/10Very friendly bartender team. Serving water without asking. And I loved their dog treat dispenser and attention for furry friends. No reservations needed. Prices are good for Cincinnati tooWould recommend to experience this bar during daylight and ideally, when good weather. Suitable for big groups!“
“Jeff Cole was amazing with the tour. Great atmosphere and the history of the building and area was appreciated. His effort of making us feel welcome made the difference from other distilleries we have toured in the surrounding area. Great Bourbon and drinks…the 1944 is a must try. The “Speakeasy” portion of the tour is classic and beautiful. We are looking forward to another visit in the near future.“
“This place is so cute! Had Ethan as our server twice and he is such a sweetheart. He makes excellent recommendations and was so helpful and fun to chat with. Even during a busy night he was attentive to our table. Our food and drinks are always delicious and I love the ambiance here. It's like a fancy little old school renovated diner/ speakeasy type vibe. Love this addition to Mainstrasse!“
“Great dinner last night, our first time here. Got to the bar area around 5:30, there were some seats around the bar and a high top or two to choose from. Everything was good. Scallops were excellent with the eggplant not far behind. The Italian chopped salad was good but the roasted vegetable salad was better, we both thought. Don't skip the eggplant or scallops. Vodka pasta was good as expected too.“
“i never leave reviews on places, but i genuinely loved it so much that i had to. the environment was so calm and welcoming and very cozy. the employees were SO nice, and on top of that, i had easily the best matcha latte i’ve ever had. highly recommend this place for a chill hangout or to get some work done :)“
“Decided to stop here on our trip with our 2 kids, 5 and 3. The staff were all very friendly and the food and beer were great. We used the QR code to order food and drinks from my phone and it worked great. We tried the dill pickle pizza and the kids had chicken tenders and fries, and it was all fantastic. The staff brought our kids a paper with a scavenger hunt on it. It was not easy, even for an adult, but my kids loved it and it gave them something to do. I found myself looking around for the stuff just as much as my kids. The owner ended up helping us find a couple of the items and he was super friendly and talked to us for a bit. I would definitely go back!“
“We visited here before a play at the Aronoff, a 2 block walk. Our server was excellent. I had an Old Fashioned and the pastrami special , very good. However the half chicken was a bit dry, and overpriced at $30. The other meals at the table were good, it being Friday lent the menu was a bit “
“I had an amazing experience at Pins recently. The service was excellent, great vibe from the staff, specifically Andy who provided over the top service and some great conversation to top it off. Would highly recommend going to Pins for your next group outing“
“This was one of the most interesting bars I’ve been to. It almost gave me like an oldies speakeasy vibe. They had a fireplace both inside and outside and the place felt very intimate and cozy. One of the workers pulled out the chair for me and also helped me get my coat on which felt very high in. Our waitress was very nice and made sure to come back quite a few times to check on us (I don’t personally like when waiters do this, as it makes me feel rushed, but I still wouldn’t change my rating). The live music was cool and they have speakers outside so you could hear if you sit out there. They don’t have prices on the menu which sort of stinks. I thought it would be very expensive because the prices were not shown but my drink (Milky Way) was only $9 ( I wish they would put the prices on the menu. My friend mentioned she would have gotten another if she knew it wasn’t too expensive). Wonderful atmosphere. My drink was also amazing; it was amaretto with hot coco.“
“Had an hour to kill before dinner and popped into Lost & Found for a drink. Friendly staff and great cocktails. It was spaghetti night and it smelled really, really good, but we had dinner reservations elsewhere. Next time we’re in town hopefully!“
“Best damn pizza in the tristate area. I've never had a bad experience, and I always regret not getting multiple pies at a time. Amazing crust, fresh sauce and not overly greasy like a lot of other places around here. A bit expensive but it's worth it, I promise.“
“Hidden gem in Newport, KY right across the river from downtown Cincinnati...excellent list of private single barrel Bourbons that pair great with their excellent selection of cigars. Easy going ambiance and great service. Kudos to Ms. Summer and Mr. Dallas.“
“The ambiance and live music are nice.Service is speedy.Drink prices are bourbon are high across the board, but everything seems to be around $15 minimum, even pours that are $6 at other bars. It's just too high for the selection that they have. The cocktail happy hour is solid.“
“Great little corner bar. Proprietor is super friendly. Drinks are delicious with a cozy and calm atmosphere. We had the Venus cocktail that was delicious. Their collaboration with Essen next door is great too. It’s vegan based but totally delicious (coming from a non-vegan).“
“One of my favorite bars in cincinnati!! Their cocktail menu doesn’t miss!!! Pictured is their spring 2023 menu and I ordered the ‘Table talks’ from it! I was fascinated by all the different ingredients for the drink. I’m a gin drinker so I naturally lean in that direction. I felt like this drink was either going to be a miss or an absolute favorite no one between. IT WAS AMAZING!! And come on the little milk jar glass, obsessed!! I still think about this drink sometimes and hope it makes it back onto the menu soon. If you can’t find a current drink menu, trust me there will be something you like when you go in! If not the bar staff is so nice and are so attentive to make sure you are served a drink you will love “
“Very trendy, very minimalistic, come in for a classic cocktail or something with a twist. The bartender was even willing make us a crazy drink that was off the menu which we appreciated! It's very small here, so better to come with 2-3 friends, but there's some outdoor seating available depending on the weather. Plus their candles smell amazing and you can buy them there! Would return“
“Went here on a Saturday a little after noon. We were seated immediately and each person working was super hospitable and welcoming! The atmosphere is friendly and vibrant while still maintaining a upscale (but approachable) scene. The menu is limited and rotates for the time of day which makes ordering easy. Everything is super high quality and definitely some of the best food I’ve had in NKY/Cincy!!! Our server, I think her name is Anette, was really great! Super excited to come back to try their dinner menu. Super great local place!“
“What a fun vibe! We went there New Years Eve, pretty early in the day so it was empty besides us, but absolutely loved the atmosphere. They have plenty of green space (which is dog-friendly as long as fido doesn't potty), food vendors, various seating spaces, large televisions, curling, other games, photo opportunities, and more. If being outdoor isn't your vibe, they have a covered heated section (where the walls can come down in the summer) as well as in actual in-door bar where we got some delicious gingerbread old fashioneds. I can only imagine how fun this place is when its packed (and warmer). Our service was great - which sound be expected as the only ones there lol but he was nice, friendly, and made a great drink.“
“Food was good. Staff didn't make us feel welcomed; we rushed our meal just for this reason. Server wasn't friendly, she never asked if we were ok or needed a refill. Service is just as important as the food. As a visitor to Cincinnati, I doubt we go back when visiting the city again.“
“We just held a large party for my moms birthday here. I never leave reviews but felt like I should! This place is perfect for parties! Staff are great - Jess the manager is very responsive for planning the event and Yogi was awesome before and during the party !! Definitely recommend.“
“We stopped by this great bar after having dinner at Tousey House. Brandon was the bartender and he made us some fabulous drinks. Each drink had a unique twist that did not disappoint. If you are looking for a space to meet friends to start the even if end then The Brass Ring Bourbon Bar is a super place to go.“
“I was in awe when I walked in this place. It gave sexy, swanky, posh. I felt like I was in New York City on a rooftop and not Covington. The ambiance got me!! everything about this place turned out great, from the drinks to the food. You have to try the roasted chicken. Amazing. The cauliflower was amazing. It was so impressed with this place I came here twice in one week! I cannot wait until the summer when the outside opens and you really can be put side on the rooftop, service was excellent. You have to try the smoked old fashion. The bartenders here know exactly what they are doing and watching them make the drinks is a experience itself“
“First time visit to 927 Reserve and I was very impressed. The atmosphere is outstanding with cool finishes inside and a nice sitting area outside with firepit. Live music from the Shadwell Band was awesome. Great selection of bourbons and the bartenders were on top of their game. Great place to hang with friends or watch a game.“
“Cincinnati just keeps impressing me with the wide variety of places to enjoy and once again I have found a spot that I will be coming back to regularly. This place is cozy on the inside, the back patio is secluded and intimate, and the bartender is an angel. The draft and wine selection really blew me away! I had a martini and the best old fashioned I have had in Cincy so far. The bartender, pretty sure she is the manager, knows how to make one hell of a good cocktail and is very knowledgeable about her craft. She alone is worth going in there for honestly. They only serve appetizer/finger foods but it is more than most bars up in Mount Adams have to offer and they stick with the international theme well. The flags inside are a little much but they definitely focus on the 'world' part of World Glass Bar. I highly recommend this for a date spot or even for a group of friends looking for a place to play games and enjoy some tasty drinks you can't find elsewhere. Do yourselves a favor and go check this place out!“
“The food here is so amazing! I love their cappalini meatloaf, and it's a great value! We always leave with leftovers. Service is great and is very consistent. It has an upscale, yet laid-back vibe. I would definitely recommend to anyone wanting to try something different!“
“This might be my favorite restaurant in all of Cincinnati. The food is absolutely amazing and the cost is also really reasonable (even cheap when you consider the quality and taste of the food, as well as the service). The servers are super friendly and attentive. I recommend the cachapas!“
“A gorgeous, tucked away wine bar with a great ambiance! There were lots of friendly faces, a great selection of bottles for sale, and a great menu, with a selection of wines, beers, and cocktails, as well as various accoutrements. If I lived closer, I would for sure become a regular here. I really enjoyed the Giggle Water. Drinks were affordable. This place has serious character; don't overlook it!“
“This place was just like the reviews said it would be!! Food was fresh and cooked right! Would suggest to anyone! Definitely will be back with friends! And please try the pizza logs they were absolutely fire!!!? Fries are also amazing and the burger was great cooked to perfection!!!“
“I never have a bad experience coming here. The coffee is one of a kind in cincinnati and the vibe is super chill and relaxing. I love coming here to get the banana nut bread latte while doing some homework in one of the booths! I wish they would add more food/bakery items every time I come on they are almost fully gone but that’s the only downside I still love this place!“
“This was the perfect spot to grab a tasty treat after dinner. My friends and I arrived around 9:30 and they were still pretty busy. The 2 people taking orders were helpful and pleasant. Even suggesting what their favorites were. All 3 people in my group got the same thing. A kinder sized vanilla cone dipped in a cherry shell. It hit the spot and was the perfect amount of ice cream to satisfy a craving. They have a great outdoor space with plenty of seating to hang out and enjoy the night and people watch in Mainstrasse village. Will be coming back soon to try more flavors.“
“My fiance and I hosted a private event here to celebrate our engagement, and the staff was fantastic. Pete, our server, was incredibly helpful and served all of our 80ish guests for four hours straight. Highly recommend this for private events!“
“Cozy neighborhood spot with great cocktails and a small but mighty menu. The olives are a great value, and the egg salad sandwich was very tasty. The bartenders were so friendly, and people came in and out greeting people by name all evening. What a gem!“
“A dive bar type of place with a cozy basic atmosphere. Drinks are cheap for a downtown bar in Covington KY. Service is attentive and friendly. Food is not served but several restaurants are nearby or one can bring food into the bar. Happy hour is unparalleled for it seems to cover all types of drinks. This is not the usual for places that have happy hour. Seating is ample plus space exists to stand.“
“We loved Aji Ichiban when it was on Glenway, and are thrilled with the new location where the old Washington Platform restaurant used to be in Elm Street. It’s all new and very clean and cozy! Their yummy-yummy sauce is simply the best! I love the Hibatchi shrimp and fried rice and my husband and kids love the Hibatchi Chicken and shrimp. They have a beautiful full bar and an extra room for karaoke and private events! They do not cook in front of you but have nice seating and bring the food to you. I think I like this better! Family owned and operated by a great couple who treat you like family. If you’re craving Hibatchi, this is the place to go!!“
“Old fashioned dive bar with exactly the food you'd expect. It's not going to win a chef competition but it doesn't have to. The food does the job and the drinks pick up the slack. Awesome bartenders and the place never gets too crowded.“
“We rented the Queens Quarters for my sister's surprise 40th bday. Booking and planning was super easy. Staff was great. We used their catering thru Thunderdome and chose Bakersfield OTR. TONS of food. Take home containers. Everything was fresh and delish. Bartenders were attentive and provided outstanding service. Everything went as planned. She was surprised! All guests had a great night. I would definitely use their services again for another event. I highly recommend you consider this venue for your next event. Thank you for everything!“
“We stopped in for a drink before our show. The drinks were good but a bit spendy. Good variety of beer, wine and cocktails. They have a few mocktails on the menu as well. The bartenders were attentive and friendly. They clearly are passionate about the OTR neighborhood and shared recommendations for places to eat, and had also seen some of the theater/music productions. No kitchen or bites so plan on eating elsewhere. Overall a solid place to hangout for a bit!“
“Great place for a modern Mexican meal. We had a combination of dishes from Pollo Monterrey and Flautas to firecracker shrimp and Chicharrones. As we enjoyed our drinks the chef came out with a complimentary hors d’oeuvre that he was looking for our input on…It was great!!! Service and atmosphere are excellent.“
“Omg! I got to say this was one of the best Brunch spots Ive been to. The food and service was amazing. So flavorful and the seasoning… Lets just say no salt or pepper is needed. I can’t wait to try the other menu items. Today we tried the steak and eggs, chicken and waffles, and Banana French Toast. I also had a Mimosa.“
“Very nice place. I had the mushroom swiss burger. I realized about 3 min after I ordered i forgot to tell them temp. Burger came out a perfect M well. I prefer a m rare but it was juicy and very good so no ccomplaints. My wife had the Taco Salad and a cup of spup.Atmosphere was casual and nice. My wife asked the server if it was a mexican restraunt. Server said no bar and grill so if you are planning on mexican may not be the place.Overall burger was good and I do reccomend them.“
