My favorite is the Shrimp and Grits and other people have raved about the Pork Chop and steak. I do not think there is a bad choice here. I have never once not had a great meal! Our service has always been wonderful as well, yet this year it was lackluster. One time out of 10 is just a fluke this year i am sure.“

“We took our out of town guests yesterday. Our server Jessica was amazing! She really made our night! (If you are reading this Jessica, y’all/yins did a great job! Lol.) Everyone loved their cocktails. The pork chop was very tasty and perfectly cooked, loved the shrimp and grits… so flavorful! The salmon was also delicious! We had the cheese and hummus plate as a starter and I was not a fan. The hummus was gummy and had an odd flavor. The rest of our group didn’t mind it. I could have had the bruschetta as my meal… yum! For dessert we had the bread pudding and asked to have some bourbon to pour on top (so good!), the lava cake (wow) and the brûlée (coffee flavored and very nice). We were the last to leave and Jessica and the rest of the staff treated us if we had all the time in the world. We so appreciated that! Our experience was so special! Thank you!“

Heat was intense, table was so loose we would not be able to hold it and eat, and table was covered with some sticky substance. We would have asked to move but nobody came to the table. So we left. Sad because the food is good!“

“What an incredible experience. The place is absolutely gorgeous inside and out. We started our night with the house old fashioned cocktails. We ordered the bread basket with homemade brioche, foccacia, and jalapeño cheddar bread with flour de sel and sorghum butters. Every bite was worth it. I picked the lamb Campanella. My husband ordered steak and potatoes. Absolutely the best dinner we will have all year. We made reservations here for our anniversary, and we were treated to champagne and caramel popcorn creme brulee. This was the highlight of our trip - I would recommend to anyone to make reservations here!“

A special shoutout to McKenna, who truly made the experience unforgettable. She suggested and crafted my very first bourbon Bloody Mary, and wow, I didn’t know bourbon could work so well in that format. It was bold, balanced, and honestly a game-changer. Her creativity and friendly energy elevated the whole experience.

The Bourbon Tasting Academy is a must. Come for the bourbon, stay for the people (and definitely say yes to McKenna’s recommendations!)“

First off, the staff, absolutely phenomenal. Every single person I talked to (I’m sorry I don’t remember names, my memory is lacking currently) was so sweet and helpful. I appreciate every single one of you. Second, the food was perfect and delicious. Third, the room itself was everything I hoped it would be and more. Olivia was sweet and helpful and just over all a very good server. she is an asset to the restaurant. we had the chicken sandwich, the fish tacos and the Buffalo mac and cheese. it was served quickly and was very good. we finished it off with a cookie and ice cream. it was all so good. such a good meal, we will absolutely be back. highly recommend this place.“

I hit the jackpot with expert bartender CC, who took my request for a custom whiskey flight as a challenge and knocked it out of the park with three choices setup in the perfect order. She knew the story behind each one and quickly looked up some additional details on her phone when she wasn't sure. The bar is clean and spacious and full of light. Whiskies are arranged by family for easy identification. She described a "Black Manhattan" that sounded delicious, but I'll have to try that next time. Proof on Main makes the perfect place to treat your taste buds while waiting for a distillery tour. Slainte!“

I didn’t have room to eat the fresh asparagus and I ordered a California cobb salad with jumbo shrimp and fresh lobster claw meat with avocado which I will have for lunch tomorrow. I placed my order online late last night when I read about the fresh crab and scheduled to pick it up at 4 today. He cooked it all right there in front of me, everything fresh and tasty.
