“We hosted a get together here and had a great time! Candace was so great to work with prior to the event and helped us organize drink tickets and a space for us for food. The day of the event, Brandy and Tommy (the bartenders) took great care of us and made sure everyone had a great time. This place is a hidden gem up on the hill with great staff, great bar selections, and a great atmosphere! We will be back.“

“All the food is excellent but the chicken wings might be the best is the area. I have enjoyed wings from all around Greater Cincinnati but none are as good as Tickle Pickle wings. Service is outstanding and the place is very clean.“

“My husband and I had dinner here before attending the Nate Bargatze comedy show on Sunday, October 26th. We were running late due to the Bengals game letting out, and the traffic and crowds in the streets were beyond chaotic. We called Bourbon's and informed them of the situation and they were so kind to hold our table for us. We finally arrived and we were greeted and seated immediately. The service, the food, and the ambiance were all excellent. We would highly recommend this place. It's a great location if you're attending an event at Paycor Stadium, the Reds Stadium, or the Heritage Bank Center. It was an easy choice being so close to the venue we were attending and we're glad we chose it!“

“When we got there we brought our dog to join us for my Father’s Day lunch and they were so helpful and nice, dog bowl of water right away and got us seated in the patio area. Took our drink order and food order and I can’t understand how that cook got everything out so quick and was so delicious. Mac and cheese bites were good, the sauce made it but the star was the 1788 burger. Hands down the best burger I think I have ever had. Juicy, hot, and fresh. The chips were even seasoned enough but if you get the chips add bbq sauce. Really enhances the flavor. Over all If you are craving an amazing burger and nice place to hang out try this place out.“

“Nice neighborhood bar serving good drinks and pub style food. The food menu is limited somewhat but the taste and quality was very good. Happy hour went until 7 pm and they had live music on the weekend staring at 8 pm. Service was good but tight with the bartenders mixing drinks and serving the food from the kitchen. Lots of regular patrons present .“

“We visited for the first time and were very pleased. The bar is quite big with plenty of places to sit. They have a bunch of bar games too. We were there for a live performance by Tin Hat Cowboys and they were a great time. We also tried some food and it was better than expected. Overall we had a great time and will definitely be back.“

“Met up with my siblings at the Indian Mound Cafe. The food is simple bar food but is great tasting. I had the Norwood salad. Everything a person would want on a salad without lettuce and vegetables. Their burgers, ruebens, and onion rings are great too!“

But nightshift don't know who the knew girl is but apparently she doesn't do nothing the machines were very dirty and wet beer spilled on them cigarettes butts all over the floor dirty dishes on the games.when I walked in she never asked if you need anything my friend waited 10min before he got a beer tonight . Maybe instead of playing on the machines then this place would be much nicer and cleaner at night . I will say when Kelly was working nights it least she did work her butt off but this other girl no she won't do nothing.“

“I’ll be honest it’s not a bad spot to drink at and the owner has always been super kind to me. The food is decent and I’d recommend getting the platter after drinking on a night out if the friers are still on. I personally get the chicken tenders with nacho cheese and the occasional mozzarella sticks. Karaoke is fun and I’ve been a pool shark since mid-college. Rom even taught me how to play pool! Location was such a huge thing for me back then and it was a prime bar living in Aspen Pines. Now I unfortunately do not approve of certain things and numerous people who they chose to keep and allow to work behind the bar top. Especially with their track records. It is still a dive/pool bar at the end of the day so I just choose to avoid it at all costs now. As I was told as a little girl “birds of a feather do flock together.” which just means I’m just not in the same flock as them and I am A-OKAY with that currently. Plus there are plenty of other bars to attend in both Ohio and KY. It’s just a shame because I did really like it at one point in time. 💙 Just know if you’re down for a good time they do know how to party and I will always root for them at a safe distance. The wedge salad tasted like they picked it from the Garden of Eden, made with the world’s best house made ranch dressing- they should bottle that Sh!T. & My drink was top-notch, served by great bartenders in a cozy brick pub, like if Cheers had a “study”. My entree was the Beef on Weck sandwich. All I can say is WHAT THE WECK WAS THAT?! So juicy! So delicious! The cooks in the back were raised RIGHT. Best kept secret in Cincinnati for sure. “Even having arrived mid afternoon on a weekday, one can see this would be a fun place on a summer weekend evening. Burgers, the short rib grilled cheese (sold out at the time), and the Greek spaghetti were recommended.

I ordered the spaghetti. I can see the appeal: bacon, green bell peppers and onions, and olives tossed in butter+olive oil and topped with parmesan. It was underseasoned, but still hearty (and nothing some salt and pepper couldn't help). Maddie, the server/hostess was lovely and engaging, attentive and helpful. What a fun place to visit, if you appreciate how difficult it must be to be in business since 1861.

“Surprisingly wide range of food options. Had a small company Christmas party there last week. The beer selection was good,but this place is a restaurant/ bar vs a craft brewery, which is fine by me. The parking was easy also. Everyone had fun, the pool table was in nice shape, the darts were good also. We'll be back“

“We ate there last night before seeing Mac McAnally. We got there early and ordered food and beer as soon as we walked in. It was not busy but quickly filled up. We received our food within 20 minutes and it was very good. We ate and had a total of 3 beers. The total bill with a generous tip was less than $50

The secret was to order food and beer as soon as you walk in. We saw other people that were waiting a longer time because they came in when the bar was busy.

There is outside and inside seating. This was our first time here but we will be back.“

“Quiet little burger joint with a beautiful view. The burger was juicy. The bartender didn't listen very well with the condiments, but I won't complain. The view was immaculate. The patrons there were nice and welcoming. I'll go again when I am on that side of town.
