“First time here and wow! Pleasantly surprised by the food, atmosphere, and the service. The chefs in the kitchen all wear comically oversized hats! I got a calzone and it was HUGE! Very tasty with a side of yummy marinara (not like the sweet stuff larosas has). Reasonably priced and good drinks!“
“My boyfriend and I are visiting from Louisville, we stopped here for a late lunch today. The staff is super friendly and so is the owner! The food is amazing! I have family on my mothers side that are from Italy and it just took me back to when I was a kid eating my grandmothers food!!! If you are visiting or live in this area you definitely need to stop by!“
“No food is served here, so there's no rating for food. Service was cheery, and the temperature the AC is set to adds to the name of the bar. I had the frozen watermelon margarita. I generally don't like watermelon, but this margarita is/was delicious! It tasted more like a strawberry margarita than a watermelon one! I'd consider having it again!“
“My coworkers and I love GD! I highly recommend adding ghost pepper cheese to your GD salad if you like it hot!!! And the curry chicken salad is not to be missed. Delicious!Vegetarian options: Kale Storm is great but I also love that I can just build my own.“
“I am still sitting at the restaurant as I write this post. Cannot say enough good things about the breakfast my husband and I just enjoyed. HANDS DOWN, the best breakfast we have had in the area since we moved here a year ago. Get here as fast as you can.“
“Another great lunch spot downtown / by Fountain Square. Gets busy, but the line moves fast plus you can order online for pickup. The Pick Two (out of soup, salad or half sandwich) is a great deal. The Club Salad and cup of Chicken Chili was very filling. Plus, it comes with a drink. My friend enjoyed her loaded baked potato soup. They also have good cookies. Prices were reasonable.Vegetarian options: All kinda of veggie / non meat soup, salad and sandwich choicesParking: All parking (street and garage) is within 1 block“
“I've eaten here twice now and absolutely love the food! The spaghetti and chicken Parm are both fantastic, and their house red isn't bad at all!The environment is very cozy and laid back, but be warned that they do have a weekly trivia night that you won't be able to hear yourself think during.“
“We're from Cleveland and were in town visiting for a show and wanted something local - not a national chain. We found Izzy's and we will DEFINITELY be back every time we're in Cincy! I had the Codfather and it was THE best fish sandwich I've ever had. I almost went back for a second one later on!! The service was also excellent - they were VERY friendly and conversational. Overall - a GREAT experience!“
“No host when we arrived. Very pleasant when she came after a few minutes. She recognized my wife's bday and wished a happy bday before we sat. We were greeted promptly by our server. We would have liked some beverage recommendations and a bit more outgoing personality from our server, but it didn't detract from our experience. We had the gnocchi and the special for 2 and all courses were delicious and served in a timely manner. The meats served on the metal serving tray weren't as hot as we would have liked. I believe that this was due to the metal tray being cold when the food was plated. Maybe keeping the metal serving trays warming in the kitchen prior to platings would be a good practice. The cuts of meat and preparations were excellent and we really enjoyed the grilled flavor on the romaine. It would've been nice for the server to ask or mention something about my wife's birthday. We never expect anything for free in those circumstances but acknowledgment and a birthday wish is always appreciated. All things considered, it was a great dinner experience, and we will be coming back again to try our favorites, which were the flat iron steak, short rib, and Caesar salad!“
“One of my favorite new restaurants! My husband and I dined there before an event so we didn't have a lot of time and the service was exceptional and efficient. Our stakes were amazingly delicious and cooked to order. I Loved all the vegetable side options and the salads. We will definitely be back!“
“Went inside for carry out. Friendly, attentive folks. First time I'd seen the remodeled dining room, very nice. Burger was excellent, tasted like homemade because the lettuce, tomato and pickle was decent sized and fresh. Chicken sandwich was legit too.“
“My new favorite place for legit Hawaiian food. Had today's special, chicken adobo, and side ahi poke, rice, mac salad, lumpia, mochiko chicken, and custard pie to top it off. Island music playlist was a nice treat as well. Felt like I was back in Hawaii, but at the fraction of the cost. Follow their Facebook page to learn what the daily specials are. Ahi poke was my favorite... tasted just like home! Big scoop, too! I'm looking forward to Lau lau, chicken long rice, or pastele stew next time. Never hung out in Covington before. Really nice spot... like OTR but spacious. I'm definitely visiting again when I can make the 45-minute drive. Amazing experience... talk story with everybody for 2-3 hours, catch up on Hawaii memories and news.“
