I've always adored eating here. The food is good, the service is fast, and it has a nice atmosphere. THE best chicken I've ever had at a fast food place, the sides are good too, especially the potato wedges and macaroni.
Today is the first time that I have tried Lee's famous chicken. It was delicious. We ordered the 12 piece 1/2 Bone in/ 1/2 Boneless with coleslaw, mashed taters and gravy, and potato wedges. Oh and 6 biscuits. I love fried chicken and theirs is a really good recipe. The gravy is outstanding and so is the coleslaw. Their biscuits are outstanding as well. Something happened last visit. It was like they lost our order. We called from the parking lot twice as we had ordered all dark meat. One of the sides was not what they ordered. Any place can have a bad day. It is what they do about it when it happens that define the good places. They apologized in what seemed sincere to me. Unasked, they gave us a coupon for about what half of our order was. It was at a somewhat busy time. I will be going back.
