“Staff was the rudest I have ever encountered at the Middletown location. I also witnessed extreme rudeness to a door dash driver who had clearly been waiting a while and when they asked about the order having been marked 10 minutes ago as ready they were told "We don't care about YOUR numbers, we have to appear to be on time." He looked like management. I turned and left, I will not do business with someone being rude to staff or anyone providing a service to them any more than rudeness to customers.“

“For my sons birthday, Jacob Withrow ,he wanted family to meet at the Village Anchor (10 of us ) We all have been raving over how good the food was after we left there yesterday. It all came out in a timely manner and done the way we asked , and Bravo to the chef. Our waitress Melissa was fantastic she was on to of everything and made sure we all were taken care of and happy . My husband is very picky when it comes to food and he was absolutely gives 10 stars to the Village Anchor. We all said we would make the 2 1/2 hour drive to eat there again. This was a great choice my son Jasob Withrow made. You did very well Village Anchor !!!! Peggy Hubbard, Somerset Ky.“

“We come to Louisville once a year and ALWAYS make a reservation here! It is our favorite. We have been doing this for over 10 years and I am always excited to go here. My favorite is the Shrimp and Grits and other people have raved about the Pork Chop and steak. I do not think there is a bad choice here. I have never once not had a great meal! Our service has always been wonderful as well, yet this year it was lackluster. One time out of 10 is just a fluke this year i am sure.“

“What a fantastic spot.. on the River with additional outdoor protected dining. Fantastic lobster Themador, so many flavors, sides delicious, Kayla, our server knows bourbons. Helpful and accommodating. Wife had scallops… almost custom to accommodate her diatary issues. Service from reception to server…above and beyond.“

“We have ate here at least 5 times and every time the food & service has been great !! We first ate Gus’s in Memphis and have also been to the one in Little Rock . We were happy to find out we have our own Gus’s right here in Louisville !!! If you have never had it you need to try it . It will not disappoint !!!“

“Ordered family meal salmon and chicken tenders, sides of broccoli casserole and mashed potatoes with cheese and bacon. The portions were great 👍 the taste was amazing 👏 and the crossont was 🔥!!!! Delivery was only 1.5 hours on a Sunday

“I had never been here before but it was highly recommended to me when looking for a main dish for a baby shower. The ease for ordering and pickup was great and everyone enjoyed the mini croissants and the variety of salads I picked out. The Broccoli salad was a huge hit!!! Beth Gruner“

“Love their wings. I’ve driven 1 hour 15 minutes twice from Lexington over last 3 months to pick up wings.They were able to accommodate a 100 wing order same day on February 3, 2024. Had a party yesterday and now 10 more of buddies our fans of the wings. Appreciate y’all.“
