“Took my son there today because we had been dying to try this place. He got the "Rushmore" and I got the "Reuben" for myself and one to go for my daughter. Sandwiches were really delicious and reasonably priced. They had a huge crowd and we still got served our food extremely quickly. This place is not only awesome, but local. You are truly missing out if you don't go. We didn't even try the loaded potato soup, which looked delicious as well.”

“I always look for some good Greek/Mediterranean food whenever I travel. I traveled to Lexington this week and found Zaki before I left town. I got a gyro wrap and an order of the stuffed grape leaves. It was absolutely amazing! I enjoyed EVERY bite! I only wish I lived closer, so I could eat there more frequently.”

“Had a couples date night with friends last night Pros: cool atmosphere -good cocktails-festive delish well garnished -pasta pasta pasta -unique ingredients in meals -pretty dinnerware -Candice (perfect service) -creative dessert concepts -lounge area Cons: I think they should stay with their roots even though they believe it’s a misconception they are an Italian restaurant-their pasta is perfection. Wasn’t so much impressed with the pork tenderloin as I was with the pasta.”

“We had a reservation, which was confirmed via email. When we arrived, not able was available. We got seated and our waitress just didn't show up. I drank my Heineken, waited and waited some more for about 20 minutes. I finally flagged down a person who kindly offered to get our waitress for us. No complaints with service after that. The food was good. However, do not order tuna tartare. I don't know what minced meat it was made from but it was not ahi tuna. It was a mixture of red spicy something, cut with crispy rice. No scallions. I even thought it was salmon at first? The waitress asked the chef and came back with assurances that it was not salmon. I don't know what it was but don't order it. I also had a few pieces of sashimi. White tuna was amazing (you get 3 pieces per order), but smoked salmon came in a weird portion. It was string cut into 6 strings. And when I say strings, I mean imagine a box of matches, cut lengthwise. I had 6 pieces of that. It tasted good, I just didn't know what happened to the rest of it. Everything else was fine. Maybe I just hit on the wrong items that night? I'm not sure. But I will probably not go back.”

All of their drinks are school-themed, and they always have a drink of the week that is a must-try! Definitely give this place a try!”

“Jeff Ruby's is about more than good food, it's an experience. My husband and I have been loyal customers for over 10 years. We drive nearly 2 hours 1 way, sometimes multiple times a month, just to eat here. We have visited every restaurant except the Columbus location. The steak is always amazing but it's the service that really puts these restaurants over the top for us. Lexington is our favorite location because Jon Wright works there and he's the best!”
