Forget get the high priced steak houses in Lexington as this was far and away the most perfectly cook steak ever. Adding to the perfect meal were wonderful onion rings. They were as close to perfection as you can get. My compliments to the chef. we were too full to try the deserts but I am sure they would have been great. “I paid $25 for dinner and the mini burgers were so overcooked and dry. They put shredded lettuce pickle and tomato on the side but yet I was given the heel of a tomato so it wasn't edible. I asked for mayonnaise and I got ranch dressing.
The bourbon old fashioned was good but it did not have a cherry in it. I did not complain.
The place was extremely busy and the atmosphere was nice. But I didn't want to complain about the food so I ate what I could and told myself that I would never order that ever again. Because it just was not worth $5 let alone 15.“

“Came here after the neighboring restaurant, Ramsey’s, refused to seat us — 1 hour before closing. I have to say that Five Guys stepped up, the staff was extra friendly, the food was bussin, & it was an excellent experience. I HIGHLY recommend this place! Great food. Great people. Great service.“

“My son and I had an impromptu late lunch today 7/7/2022. It’s been a long time since we’ve experienced service like this that was topped off with awesome food! The medium cooked burger with extra bacon was incredible, cooked to perfection, it was huge! The pulled pork sandwich topped with small onion rings was an unexpected tasty surprise. The French Fry’s were seasoned, served HOT and crisp just like the sandwich’s, I mean, where in Lexington do you get that?! The staff was exceptionally cordial and our food was presented before we had filled our fountain drinks. Out the door just stuffed full for $30, that’s value! My son and I had a quick debate on the way home, monthly or weekly stop 😂 Weekly for the win! Can’t wait to try breakfast!!“

“Experience/Environment: This place is so cute inside. From the decor in the dinning rooms to the little pastry/market.

Only annoyance was looking for the entrance. It’s inside like and old courthouse or something so depending on what side of the building you’re coming from, you might have to walk around. It was dark and snowy out, so dress and plan accordingly lol.

Price: A little pricey bc the hipster the factor maybe? The cookie/pastry shop was a cool convenience tho.

Food: Sooo. As greedy as I am lol. I tend to order more than I can eat. So now I limit myself to 2 entrees of if I really can’t decide. First entree: green beans and fries were good, the catfish was not. Second: shrimp and grits…poppppin. Shrimp was good, grits were good, greens were good, onion ring was good. Just get it.

Service: Cassie I believe her name was.. might need to check the spelling tho. Full disclosure, I went in January and just not realizing I haven’t done the review.

“We went for a late lunch so it was not too busy. The atmosphere of the restaurant was great. I loved the industrial feel. We went to the kitchen to order and the service was a bit transactional. We sat at the bar and I was glad that the bar staff was a lot more friendly and personable than the cook staff. We ordered the Old North Double Burger and the Chicken Fajita Quesadilla. Both were really good but expensive. No sides were included with the entrees. We also purchased two drinks. Prices were not listed for drinks and with one cocktail and one beer it was $22.“

“This review is for a Door Dash I had delivered from Applebee’s on February 7, 2025. Our neighborhood Applebee’s don’t always get a fair shake but it was a Friday night and kind of late. We were hungry but waited too late to go out. We decided to give Applebee’s a try and we were going to do it with Door Dash. I ordered a burger and onion rings and my wife ordered a salad. When I pressed the payment button it said our food would be delivered within 40 minutes. I thought “no way”. Even though it’s only a few miles from our house. Well they actually beat the estimated time and delivered within 27 minutes. My burger was fixed to perfection and the onion rings were a ten. The salad was also good. Great choice for a late Friday night.“

She was so friendly, so good to my son, helped him get ketchup, wouldn't let me get up because I'm almost due to have my baby, and even paid for our dessert- which was wonderful. My son said it was the best day ever because of her.“
