About Blue Horse Restaurant

Blue Horse Restaurant offers a mix of experiences. The food has received mixed reviews, with some dishes like the prime rib and turkey sandwich being praised for their taste and quality. However, other items, such as the mashed potatoes and deviled eggs, did not impress. The service was noted to be exceptional in some instances, though other reviews described it as adequate but nothing special. The atmosphere is cozy, with a strange layout that includes a large space in the basement with low ceilings, making it feel like a 1950s house. Despite ongoing renovations to update the look, some customers found the seating arrangement lacking in privacy. The menu is being revamped to please all customers, and the location is convenient for those staying near the airport. Overall, it's a pleasant dining spot with potential for improvement, especially with the excellent drinks and some standout dishes like the spicy grits and corn fritters.

When we arrived, it was not very busy; 8 of the tables had old food from previous customers the entire time we ate, so not sure where the bus boy was. It is really not nice to see other people's leftover chicken bones and scraps. Staff was wonderful, it just seems like they may be short staffed, even with the sparse amount of customers.

Food was very good and price was very fair for what we got. The service was great and the food came out quickly. The atmosphere was a little deceiving, we thought it was business dress but it's definitely casual but never a problem because everyone can enjoy this place. This resteraunt is known for its prime rib dish and it was amazing. Our waitress went above and beyond to get us prime rib when they were supposed to be out of it for the night and we were very grateful. If your...read full review

We dined here on a Saturday night at 6:30. We were the only people in the entire restaurant. It's seems like a nice place, nothing fancy at all. We were staying at the TRU hotel next door and they recommended Al's table. We all had drinks that were quite tasty. We all ordered prime rib. The prime rib was tasty, seasoned well and tender. A very generous portion. The spicy grits were excellent. The mashed potatoes had been sitting g for a while and were just ok. Broccolini was mushy...read full review
