We were late due to traffic and when I called to let them know, they told me to stop by. This was at 9:45pm, they close at 10pm.
I told them I didn’t have to bother their team but they insisted.
We enjoyed our dinner, I showed my appreciation with a very generous tip, as their professionalism and consideration was beyond what many restaurants showcase nowadays.
Thank you guys, we’ll come back at a decent time next time we’re in Louisville!“

Pick up farm fresh eggs, order a Farm to table libation, and the most delicious bites plates on could imagine! The assorted pickles are far out - try em'! Oh, and one MUST NOT forget about the white chocolate mousse - my lawd. I am now a fan of mousse! Beautiful art is available for adoption on the walls. And you can not go wrong with any of the libations. The flight is a STEAL! I can not remember the cocktail names ordered, but one was cherry focused. While the other is made with turmeric greens and gin. De-lish-must! I mean it. Go. Now!!!!“

“My friend and I had an awesome time conducting the tour and tasting at Michter's. Our tour guide was Page; she was very knowledgeable and explained the history of Michter's and the bourbon-making process well. The distillery at this location is small but has everything needed to make tasty bourbon. The tour was great, but the best part is always the tasting. We got to try seven different pours, and they were all phenomenal. My favorite was the barrel-strength sour mash, which, sadly, was not in stock that day. This was a great tour, and I highly recommend it.“

“It's rare that we have a date night on a weekday with two young children, but tonight was the exception. When I realized our anniversary was falling on a Wednesday, Perso was the first place that came to mind. Perso's Prix Fixe Menú is available every Sunday through Wednesday and offers a three course meal for $29. It's no secret that I'm a fine dining enthusiast; but who doesn't love a bargain? If you're looking for a nice night out without breaking the bank, this is your spot. Perso sits at the corner of Oak and Shelby in the same location as the former Square Cut Pizza. The giant windows in the front provide an abundance of natural light. The interior has a modern industrial vibe with painted exposed brick, plants, and Edison bulbs hanging on pendants. One wall with wooden slats gives a Scandinavian feel to the main dining area. It's a small-ish intimate space with a beautiful patio. For my first course, I chose Crostino Di Tonno- olive oil poached tuna, stracciatella, pickled celery, and Calabrian chili. I followed my first course with olive oil poached swordfish, corn chowder, and golden zucchini scapece. For dessert, I had the chef's choice: apple strudel with whipped cream cheese. My husband chose heirloom tomato with roasted eggplant, bagna couda, and fine herbs. For his main course, he had pork tenderloin with edamame, beef dashi, and fine herbs. We both opted for the chef's choice for dessert. I tasted each of his courses and they were every bit as delicious as my own. The edamame provided the perfect texture and his tenderloin dashi tasted gravy-esque without being overly heavy. Mostly notable, besides the insane deal for such decadence, was the fresh flavor combinations throughout. Our table had fresh rosemary as a centerpiece. The corn chowder was right up my alley. I could've licked my bowl if I wasn't trying to pretend to have a bit of class. The swordfish was tender, juicy, and not overly fishy. The tuna flatbread was the perfect balance of sweet and spicy. The mint on top of my whipped cream cheese truly set it apart. My lavender Manhattan was earthy and smoky, not just in flavor. It was literally smoking. My husband had an old-fashioned. Neither of us were disappointed. Our server, Amanda, was phenomenal. She offered recommendations. She visited our table to ensure we were satisfied the perfect number of times. Her warm demeanor was professional while also being personable. She was everything we hope for in a server. Perso's Sunday through Wednesday Prix Fixe Menú is hands-down one of the best opportunities for an affordable night out. That being said, once you get a taste of what they have to offer, you'll be sold on splurging any day of the week.“

“Around 6p.m. on Wed and it was empty, but the bartender was very present and cocktails were excellent. Very reasonably priced for such great cocktails. Tried a sampler of house made Prova spirits and all were unique and tasty. They also sell these by the bottle at very reasonable prices. Pretty much knocked my socks off. Do yourself a favor when in nulu, its just 2 blocks. You'll find a new go to.“

“Great experience yesterday at Copper & Kings with 6 of us! Visiting family here from Long Island, NY, we know about wine production, but nothing about Brandy/Bourbon. Our tour guide extraordinaire Ryan, taught us so much fascinating info to go along with the sampling of product! The sonic maturation process left us all amazed. The tastings, with unique chocolates, in a striking rooftop area looking at the Louisville skyline, was elevating, and now just bc we were on the roof!
Ryan was knowledgable, interesting to listen to, and a natural tour guide.

“The extremely helpful and polite staff were a true delight. The coffee shop made me a “black eye”, which was strong and delicious. Art work throughout ranged from elegant to eclectic, but all pieces were beautiful. The rooftop bar is the jewel, with outdoor seating, spectacular views, and comfortable conversation spaces.“

“This is a nice place to shoot pool and hang out. It has that neighborhood bar feel, which is really nice nowadays. There is 6 pool tables and there is plenty of room to shoot and have fun. The lady that was bartending was very nice and all of the people that were in there, on a Monday night, were really friendly!“

“Just had a wonderful experience, the staff was awesome at explaining everything to us as newbies. Took my husband axe throwing for Father’s Day and we had a blast! The atmosphere was lowkey and unassuming, and the other players were awesome at rooting everyone on despite us all being strangers. It doesn’t matter if you win or lose you’ll be guaranteed to have fun no matter what. The whole setup is so innovative but also very user friendly. We will definitely be back!“

“Very convenient to down town . I’m most impressed with the service and atmosphere. Seated immediately and greeted by the on site manager. My waitress joined me with ice water. I knew what I wanted and ordered. I ordered the Caesar salad as an appetizer figuring only 4 scallops were my main course. The salad had a good taste but three times as much dressing as normal. With my scallops I also ordered thick cut peppered bacon. This was more disappointing than the salad. The bacon was supposed to be cherrywood smoked and with maple syrup . Could not taste the cherrywood or smoked flavor at all. They were thick and had a lite glaze of maple. They tasted like grilled ham instead of anything resembling bacon.
Now to the main course. The scallops were perfectly cooked with a sear on top and bottom and tasted as good as they looked. The issue was that 2 of the 4 had that familiar crunch of sand.
The 1st one I thought it might be the sear- but it wasn’t.
I’m not totally put off because I probably will go back tomorrow. This is because how friendly and efficient the staff was. My waitress stopped or acknowledged she was checking very regularly. Also I liked the atmosphere and lively crowd. This time I will go the beef route.“

“I went to the Bottle Shop specifically. And its amazing. They have a limited but amazing and fair priced selection of allocated bottles, and without doubt the best selection of ultra rare bottles anywhere. And even those are fairly priced. Service with the tasting was amazing, the staff member I talked to knew his stuff and was incredibly helpful and welcoming. I'd drive out to Louisville again just for this place.“

“Dylan was a wonderful server and my husband and I had an amazing meal. The mussels were incredible the ribeye was tender and cooked perfectly. The salmon was absolute perfection as well. Cocktails were great! Dylan was kind, polite and extra helpful and knowledgeable when it came to the menu. Will 100% be back next time we’re in town.“
