We used the drive up, so I can't comment on the atmosphere. The doughnuts were delicious! The "HOT" light wasn't illuminated but the treats were scrumptious, nonetheless. The line moved rather slowly. But it was raining, so we waited our turn in order to stay dry. I guess most every establishment runs short-handed quite often now, so kudos to the ones that show up!
I Went to Krispy Kreme about 1:00pm today. (Sunday) They were not busy at all. There were a few people sitting down at the tables, and no one in line. I looked at the doughnuts to decide what I wanted, and a lady said, "we will be right with you." I said, "okay thank you." There were several people working and walking around. Another lady walked up to the counter and said, "can I help you?" There was no eye contact and the tone in her voice gave me the message I was not welcome....read full review

Their donuts have changed over the years. We stopped in this past weekend. The donuts, not the minis seemed to have shrunk and there wasn't much variety. The different flavored glazes did not seem to taste like what they were suppose to. Tasted really sugary. Anyway, the staff was friendly and the store was clean. You do get to watch the donut assembly line.
