“While visiting my friends they recommend Havava Rumba for dinner and I had never eaten at a Cuban restaurant so of course I was instantly interested. As soon as we walked in and I saw the 57 Chevy front end as the reception desk I knew it was going to be an amazing experience. The atmosphere was great and the live music really set the mood. We ordered the queso and plantain chips for our appetizer and what an amazing started that was, I definitely recommend it to anyone who loves queso and plantain chips. For my main course I chose the Vaca Frita. The beef was very tender and full of flavor. The plate was well put together and paired with black beans and roasted plantains. All I can say it absolutely amazing and I wish there was a Havana Rumba back in North Carolina.“

He looked like management. I turned and left, I will not do business with someone being rude to staff or anyone providing a service to them any more than rudeness to customers.“

Shrimp Tandoori was delicious, Naan, Tandoori Rito, Lamb Saag, Basmati Rice, Samosas, even the Chutney was wonderful, and let’s not forget Mango Lassi. So i googled Ethiopian coffee shops in Louisville and found Abol cafe. visited today and had some pour over coffee, it was the best coffe i've ever had, and i have tried coffee everywhere!!!! believe me when I say this place has the best Coffee around. Our server Joc blew it out of the park with suggestions on drinks and food topped off with a nice little back story on the family history in distilling. The old fashioned was one of the best I have had at a restaurant. We had the calamari for an app and the extra spice from the clabrian chilli was an awesome touch. We shared the wedge salad which was an explosion of flavors, with a savory green goddess dressing and topped with fresh grape tomatoes a special type of blue cheese (I can't remember the name) The tuna my wife had had a perfect crust and was cooked to perfection (the best tuna she has ever had) I ordered the lamb which was out of this world perfectly seassoned and seared with fresh mint parsley and dill with a nice cool creamy sauce. We got to try a new dessert not on menu, a white and black cookie which pay's homage to the chef's home in new york. A fluffy cookie with a pop of lemon zest, topped with half white frosting and half chocolate served with a side car of their espresso martini made with their own whiskey for dipping. “I was surprised and pleased to find an Ethiopian restaurant within walking distance of the hotel (Omni Louisville). Went with a group of colleagues and we had a wonderful time.

We were a party of 10 so made a reservation. They were ready for us when we arrived. The food options were plentiful. I had the Beef Tibs (mild) and they were very tasty and well spiced. The lentil sambusas were also excellent and for dessert the biggest piece of baclava I’ve ever seen.

Unfortunately I don’t live in Louisville but if I’m ever in town again I will be back.“

But more than that, the food was absolutely scrum-diddly-umptious!
I had a bowl of beans with big ole chunks of ham in it and some omg- good- corn cakes.
