“What a joy to have Shahar back and better than ever. Since moving and reopening, Shahar has expanded everything that made them great. Shahar has a larger seating area now, with bar and liquor for those inclined. However, the highlight of this restaurant for me has always been the food. Focusing on bringing standard American food vegan, it won’t be your healthiest stop, but if will be your heartiest. I ordered the vegan chicken waffle sandwich that flew past expectations. The waffle was akin to a portable Liege waffle that brought hat extra sweet and ease to some flaky seitan goodness. Every time I am in town, I always prioritize visiting Shahar (at least once). If you are vegan or vegan-adjacent I implore you to visit Shahar and have a sloppy good time.“

“We went for devour. We got the elite corn fritters for our app. They were not good. They used way too much tajin flavoring and it overpowered them. For our mains we got the bbq Mac and cheese which was very good and the torta. The torta beef was so tough. The fries were good. For dessert we got the donuts and they were delicious. Overall, the food was disappointing to us. It's a nice place to have a cider though.“

“How do you survive for years in the Highlands with very limited parking? Easy. Just be The Fat Lamb. One of the best spots in town. The short ribs, lamb (Of course), one of the best burgers in the city, and consistently excellent service make The Fat Lamb a no-brainer for a nice night out.“

Shrimp Tandoori was delicious, Naan, Tandoori Rito, Lamb Saag, Basmati Rice, Samosas, even the Chutney was wonderful, and let’s not forget Mango Lassi.
