“Peach cobber was great ! ALWAYS good food! I had never been in there at noon before and everything stopped and we stood for the National Anthem. I Do wish I would have waited to order until it was over, because I had just sat down not even a bite then stood up , by the time it was over my food was already cold. Please don't misunderstand I agree with it.My father is a veteran.I just would have preferred to eat my lunch hot. And I can't think of anybody else.Who does that so I was surprised. But again everything is good!!!“

“Delicious and fresh salads. My son built his own kid salad. I went with the Tequila Mockingbird Salad. It was filling with the shrimp. I love how if you remove an ingredient, like cheese, the price is deducted from your total.The service was fast and friendly. They were definitely helpful when I asked for recommendations for which salad dressing would pair well with the salad I ordered. I went with the original choice of cilantro lime dressing.It was a great experience overall, and I'll go back.“

Staff is very friendly and knowledgeable, drinks stayed filled, was very quick to bring any sauces, check how's the meal. This is the perfect place for a first date, drink with your friends, or a great meal with the wife and kids. “So finding Taqueria La Güera was meant to be. I vividly remember find this taco spot late at night and it was one of their first days open. It was my birthday and I had to work late, the main taco truck I used to frequent wasn’t there for the night, I tried 2 more back up spots and sadly they weren’t there. I had given up almost all hope when on my way back home resigned that for my birthday I wouldn’t get any carne asada tacos which I was craving. I decided to take a different route since I had previously noticed that the stand had changed at this location. I drove by and saw light on, I made a U-turn and pulled into the parking lot. And from that moment on…after tasting the delicious Carne Asada, fresh avocado, crisp onions La Güera has become by go to spot, I visit 1-2 times a week now. I’ve had everything from the tacos, quesadillas, burritos, empanadas and even the hot dog (which surprisingly hits the spot too). There are times when I’ve eaten dinner and my wife didn’t and she will send me out to get chicken tacos. Absolutely the best in town, and I will keep coming back as long as they are open!“

“I've been going here since I started working at the mall and they have always been nothing but kind!! The workers are always very friendly and very easy to talk to, and very understanding whenever it takes my phone a while to pull up the app or I make a mistake. One of the girls even knows my name and it's always nice when she greets me when she takes my order. Another girl with curly blonde hair is amazing as well! She's so sweet and I can start up conversation with her really easy! They've never messed up my order, which is surprising because with how busy it can get, it can be easy to make mistakes. “I ordered a takeout order of avocado toast. The presentation was nice, but unfortunately there was way too much salt on the dish. I managed to eat it, but it wasn't enjoyable at all.The hostess was super polite and nice, but I was told to wait for my order and it would be brought to me. After waiting several minutes I asked again, and it turns out it was in the Uber Eats area. Not a big deal, but a little annoying for me since I was in a hurry.“

“I live in Louisville. I've sorely missed tamales, pozole, breakfast tacos, etc. pretty much anything Mexican since I left Austin, TX. I asked woman I ASSumed who is Mexican if she knew where I can find some tamales and she recommended this place. I made a plan to visit this place this weekend. We walked into this magical Mexican grocer which has all the secrets to Mexican cooking and culture. It was good, but the sandwich was the size of one you would make at home. The staff is really nice and helpful. They also have a large selection of items that you can take home and cook in your own oven like lasagna, hot brown casserole, and many others. Wait there was 8 people in our party after waiting an hour we ask what the delay was and was told the the was waiting for people to leave the table they was going to seat us at. We saw lots of people come in and be seated with 5 and 6 in their party we had 2 people with diabetes with us if your told 25min. It shouldn't be over an hour wait. When we was seated Margaret was our waitress and she was amazing one of the best waitresses we had. Our food was also good.“

We try to get together every other weekend and McAllister's is one of our favorite places, although this is the first time we tried this one in Louisville. I had a Cheese and Ham Pizza on a cauliflower crust. It was very good. It was served good and hot. It's hard to find a pizza restaurant that makes cauliflower crust pizzas that doesn't taste like cardboard. I shared a piece with one of my neighbors and she really liked it too and was going to try the cauliflower pizza herself the next time she's there. My husband had "make your own lasagna" with beef, Italian sausage and extra cheese. He was able to add up to 3 items at no extra charge. It came with garlic bread. He absolutely loved it and ate every bite! It was delivered with steam rolling out. It was a big serving!! Our receipt didn't have our server's name, just Cashier 98. She was precious. I didn't see anyone send anything back or complain about their order. We all told her she did a great job. She even asked if anyone needed a drink to take with them. There was another small group there but there was still enough room for all of us. We had plenty of room to enjoy ourselves and we were all able to talk and hear each other. We'll go back again. “The Bristol has always been a favorite restaurant of my wife and me. The servers are always attentive and always serve what was ordered. The food is always prepared as ordered. The prices are affordable. The bill is always correct.Parking: The Hurstbourne Pkwy location is in a shopping center with a huge parking area. I go to the Bristol more than any other restaurant and have never had trouble finding a parking spot not close to the entrance.“
