“This was one of the best meals I’ve ever had. I don’t have anything bad to say. We ordered 75% of the menu, both desserts… different cocktails, ALL of it was astounding.

Our highlights were the short rib, tuna tartare, ricotta & honey, the BAKLAVA. But honestly, there probably isn’t one bad item on this menu.

“A hidden gem on Garfield Place . We decided to throw out the Hyde park restaurants and try something new . The Mezze Board was fantastic with all of the Mediterranean dips and veggies , The Shrimp Cossoult is to die for . The braised lamb /risotta/feta explodes with every bite. The best of all is that it was our first time dining and and I felt like family with the service from Nimo and Bryce , Coming back next week for the Swordfish . 6 stars !!!!!“

“I have always wanted to come to the Capitol Grille for dinner or lunch. So I finally had the opportunity to come for my birthday lunch. And I was not disappointed.The atmosphere was absolutely beautiful.And my server was just as delightful and well knowledgeable about menu. She had a pleasant and friendly personality. Helped tell us about other places to go, had us try some different draft beers, they made the best pizza’s even my kids loved all the different types and loved drawing plates to put on the wall. “Anjou is a beautiful cocktail bar in the dainty neighborhood of Walnut Hills. On a warm evening, Anjou props open their windows making the whole place hip and relaxing. I quite enjoyed their light and refreshing ube cocktail. Paid parking can be conveniently on the same street.“

“I wish the waiter would have wrote down our meal as we had ordered an appetizer. Then our main came out, we asked about the appetizer and the waiter forgot to enter it. Oh well, it is what it is, but just a little frustrating as he was taking our order off memory instead of just writing it down. Almost forgot our wine flight too until I reminded him. He was nice and mistakes happen though. Food was good.“

“One of my favorite places to eat. I love the food. Wine selection is good. Service is good.
I have two issues with this place.
#1. They charge $10 cork fee per bottle of wine on everyday but Thursday. That’s a crime. They claim that their wine is cheaper than other places so it justifies the cork fee, but that’s simply not true. I can get most of them cheaper at Krogers. I don’t agree with being penalized $10 per bottle to drink it there. Therefore I rarely go there any longer unless it’s a Thursday. They could at least cut it back to one $10 fee per night.
#2. When they have a live band they bring the tip jar around to each table and expect you to tip the band. I know where the tip jar is and I usually tip the band, but I don’t like how they somewhat force you to tip them by bringing it to your table. Especially when I’m trying to eat my food.

“I’m not a wine person but my wife wanted to try a wine bar and we decided to come to Skeleton Root. When talking to the staff I informed them of my lack of wine knowledge. They were very helpful and professional. They recommended a couple of different wines which we tried and to my astonishment, I enjoyed a couple of their wines. The atmosphere was rustic and laid back which I loved. It was a lovely experience and I would like to thank the staff for their suggestions and their help.“

“What a CUTE coffee shop 😍😍 The inside is absolutely darling and has plenty of space to sit and enjoy your coffee and breakfast. We opted to sit outside on the patio and enjoy the beautiful weather. Super dog friendly which is always great to see. And lots of breakfast options. We got the quinoa bowl for a gluten free option and it was so good. The sausage in it was very light and everything else was very filling. They also had some fun gluten free muffins and a s'mores bar that was super tasty!! “Stopped in for beers while visiting Second Sunday on Main after seeing 4 hot guys in a row go inside lol. Very fun and friendly neighborhood bar. Kyle the bartender is awesome! Although I live in Hyde Park I’ll definitely be upping my OTR game and visiting again“

- Hyde Prek is a fun cozy Environment, great place to do some studying or meeting up with a friend. Would recommend drinks like Cappuccinos and up. Baristas are super nice. Hyde Perk, is also open a bit later into the evenings.

“Truly an outstanding meal.
- Goat cheese and honey to start, was tasty
- braised short rib was outstanding and the potatoes that came with, tasty!
- spinach infused lasagna is worth the travel, not to heavy at all
- the wine was paired perfectly
- the Tiramasu was something, no words can describe. I've never had better.
- Hurradura Anejo tequila Old Fashioned is meant to be enjoyed, well worth it.
- Vanessa our server was knowledgeable, entertaining, and honest
