“I've been driving throughout the US over the last couple of years, and my advice to travelers - take the time to get off the beaten path and explore a bit. I did this on a trip from Nashville to upstate New York, stopping at Rowlett's Milkhouse Creamery inn Campbellsburg, Kentucky, and I was so happy I did!Vibe: It's an ice cream stand, simple as that. There are picnic tables outside, so you can sit and enjoy your ice cream. But what made the vibe so special - the brother and sister team of Terry and Sharron Rowlett - two of the nicest and sweetest people you could meet. I loved hearing their story and how they started the business - it's small businesses like this that are essential to the fabric of our economy.Service: I think I captured that above in the vibe. Uber personable and friendly.Food: I am a huge fan of Coffee Ice Cream and so happy that they had this as a option. It was DELISH! I also had a scoop of Cookies & Cream - super good as well. Their flavors aren't fancy or exotic, but you don't need fancy or exotic to make great ice cream - just great ingredients and a love for what you do. “It was a great first visit! It's a lovely little spot with a pretty view!! The ice cream was delicious! I had a scoop of Vanilla and a scoop of Strawberry in a pretty waffle cone. The attendant said she wanted to order some Fall colors and mine was a dark raspberry color for the cone!! They had some good flavors and she let us try some samples! They had some local items for sale in there plus some merch like T-shirts and sweatshirts with their logo on them! I will be back again!Parking: It's a gravel lot but well maintained.“

“Truly a farm to table place to shop. Family owned and operated on the family homestead. They support other farmers in the area by marketing their products. Their ice cream is made on site and they have an Ice Cream Truck that can support local events.Close to I 71 exit 28.“

“We love Spotz. There is finally an "ice cream" place in LaGrange and that is awesome. I say "ice cream" because really, their thing is gelato. They make their own flavors, so it tends to rotate. Majority of the flavors are pretty top notch.Sundaes and shakes are good, too. I think it's all I've ever ordered.There's usually a short weight as the staffing seems pretty thin. But, still this place is worth checking out, recommended for sure!“

“Went through drive thru last night between 7pm-8pm my husband went inside to cancel our order after not having his wallet. The manger was so nice and gave us all of our food for free including ice cream. The order wasn’t cheap and it made our whole night. My son was so excited and thankful. Kindness goes such a long way and it gives me faith in this community. I will definitely be back!“
