Let me start out by saying that, normally, we don't make a special trip to go to Captain D's. Our experiences at multiple different captain d's have not been. The food is overcooked undercooked or the restaurants not up to par. The other night, it was late. We had been at our 2 youngest sons football playoffs and championship games all day. Stopped here on a road trip for some lunch. The staff was super nice, the service was fast and my food was hot and fresh. I'm not a huge fan of hush puppies but theirs were soft and delicious! who could ask for anything more?
