“Let me start out by saying that, normally, we don't make a special trip to go to Captain D's. Our experiences at multiple different captain d's have not been. The food is overcooked undercooked or the restaurants not up to par. The other night, it was late. We had been at our 2 youngest sons football playoffs and championship games all day. We were tired and hungry, but sick of the same old fast food restaurants around town. So we decided to stop by Captain D's. You know, that once every 6 months fish and shrimp craving you get. Normally, after you stop at a fast food fish restaurant, you end up let down with the results and it just did not hit the spot. So, pulling up to the restaurant, I had low expectations that way I don't get upset later whenever the stuff's not right. That was not the case at the Captain D's in princeton kentucky. Let me tell you, I was flat out blown away. The customer service alone was enough for me to bring my family of 9 back again, and the quality of the food was on point. This experience at the Captain D's in Princeton, Kentucky has been the best experience at any Captain D's that we have ever visited. Although, I can not vouch for the cleanliness of the restaurant being as we went through the drive-thru, from what I could see, it was not in disarray. The counters were wiped down and there wasn't crud built up around the corners of fixtures and baseboards. If every fast food restaurant had the customer service and good quality of food that this Captain D's had, they would all be better off. They set the bar high. We can't wait to go back again.“
“So I went with my friend to Princeton to do some shopping. After we were done we decided we were going to go eat somewhere and I wanted Pizza Hut. If I wanted something else so we went and picked up her food after I ordered my food in the store with the lady and told her we would be right back. I ended up leaving my phone there and looked everywhere for it. When I come back they said they have my phone and my food was ready! “Well, I've had my first Sonic experience. After countless views of the 2 idiots on TV; tonight was the night. Pam and I passed it many times for "healthy options" but we were just hungry and there it was. I pulled into the car slot and immediately had a major American Graffiti vibe. The menu is on a 60" TV screen which was limited but had all the goodies one needed for fast food. You push a red button and give your order to the host over a speaker. I went with 2 chili dog cheese add onion, wife went with the no.1 cheese burger single dressed hold the ketchup fries and a drink. You pay with a card like at a gas pump and can track the service graphically from kitchen to car. Lil Kristen got the food out hot, fast, and cheap but surprisingly good. The dogs were all beef and had a good bite to them the chili was mild and tasty. The buns were warm and tender. Highly recommend the chili dog cheese. The burger appeared well cooked with a nice char and dressed well with lettuce, tomato, mayo and pickle. The fries were similar to Micky D's. Overall for what it was it was done well and I will go back.“
