“I'm going to go back to give this another try. The pizza was very good. However, if you're looking for a normal sized pizza that can feed a family, that's won't cut it unless you order a couple at 14.99 per pizza, that can be costly. The onion rings were absolutely phenomenal! Thick beer batter crunch yummy. 8 onion rings for 8.99, again, the cost of living has gone thru the roof. The waitress was responsive. “Let me start out by saying that, normally, we don't make a special trip to go to Captain D's. Our experiences at multiple different captain d's have not been. The food is overcooked undercooked or the restaurants not up to par. The other night, it was late. We had been at our 2 youngest sons football playoffs and championship games all day. We were tired and hungry, but sick of the same old fast food restaurants around town. So we decided to stop by Captain D's. You know, that once every 6 months fish and shrimp craving you get. Normally, after you stop at a fast food fish restaurant, you end up let down with the results and it just did not hit the spot. So, pulling up to the restaurant, I had low expectations that way I don't get upset later whenever the stuff's not right. That was not the case at the Captain D's in princeton kentucky. Let me tell you, I was flat out blown away. The customer service alone was enough for me to bring my family of 9 back again, and the quality of the food was on point. This experience at the Captain D's in Princeton, Kentucky has been the best experience at any Captain D's that we have ever visited. Although, I can not vouch for the cleanliness of the restaurant being as we went through the drive-thru, from what I could see, it was not in disarray. The counters were wiped down and there wasn't crud built up around the corners of fixtures and baseboards. If every fast food restaurant had the customer service and good quality of food that this Captain D's had, they would all be better off. They set the bar high. We can't wait to go back again.“
