“Ok Bambi bar. Your pictures of what you call a fantastic cheese burger lured me in!

Here’s the skinny. It was good on the one bite scale. 7.2 all day. Onions were on point and if I am getting down to it the wand soft drink was good. That’s more unusual than anything else.

Atmosphere 5/5. Now remember this is a dive bar. Please do not confuse cleanliness with atmosphere. Again repeat it with me. Dive Bar. Ok with that said it was not gross or anything but I would never go to McDonald’s and expect 5 Guys. I think that’s fair personally.

To summarize if I lived in the area I would happily pop in here over fast food any day other than week. I probably would not drive 45 minutes to try it. However put a pin in it and when you’re on Bardstown road for lunch drop in. Or if you a partying extra hard and need to sober up I think they got you. Or get more beer I ain’t your parent. Cheers!“

“Ate here on Saturday evening. Food was delish! I had the breakfast sandwich with those fabulous fries and my daughter had the chili dog and fries. I could make a meal with just those fries. That Magic Dust sure makes the delicious!“

“Okay guys, I have to let you know about this place. It is fantastic. The atmosphere is really laid-back and cool. All the games they have, the pool table, video games, dart boards, board games at the tables for you, are all free as long as you're there spending money on food or drinks. The food was amazing, and the staff incredibly friendly.
Stop in, spend a little money, spend a lot of money, play a few games, meet some friends, and have a wonderful time. You'll enjoy it, you got my word on that.“

“I do NOT recommend this place. We went with a party of 15 this afternoon and had a truly disappointing, awful experience. We arrived shortly after they opened. We were the only ones on the outside patio the entire visit (just shy of 3 hours) and the inside dining room never got very busy, but you'd never guess by how terrible the service was. It took nearly 2 hours for (most of) our food to come out, and even then, several orders were wrong. Our drinks were rarely filled. Our waitress and other staff may have been stretched too thin, but did the manager ever come out to speak with us or try to make things right even once? nope! The food and beer prices are high and not worth the price. (Food arrived cool and tasted ok... not worth the prices.) No apologies were offered before we left after paying our expensive tabs. We will not be back. Don't waste your time! They clearly don't care about getting return customers.“

“I live very close to here and my kids like to go over just to run around.. there is tons of open space and seating on the covered patio n outside area. I have eaten at Jeffs doughnuts, Bandits pizza and Bunz burgers (I haven't eaten here since Bunz has moved to this location but Im quite sure its the same delicious food) and all 3 are super delicious. Jeffs doughnuts is kinda pricey.. for a doughnut i mean and Bandits pizza and Bunz burgers has very reasonable pricing. I would definitely recommend trying this place out. I will for sure be back to try all of the other restaurants.“

Matt was behind the bar and was absolutely fantastic not only as a bartender but as a source for local information including where to park and where not to park for our concert. It’s somewhat lively and loud, but for those who prefer a calmer, more private space, there is a separate, cozy section at the end of the bar featuring a small desk where you can comfortably order drinks and food. The service was exceptional; the staff were friendly and welcoming. We visited specifically to watch a football match, and it was an excellent experience. The venue is equipped with multiple large screens, making it one of the best spots to relax and hang out with friends while enjoying the game.“

“upon entry 2 staff members behind the bar and a female staff member at the entry to kitchen behind a wall chatting it up on her phone. People were observed leaving due to no service. after 10 minutes I asked for a bar towel to clean a table so my party and I could sit down. food was mediocre at best and our pretzel bites allegedly weren't even written down. we did get the pretzel bites after our meals were served and someone please tell me why the hell we couldn't get a rootbeer served when it's on the menu?! guy said he couldn't serve it where we were sitting. Not sure any of them had a bit of ambition as they were very snail like. 🙄 I encourage you to keep walking, don't let the loud music lure you in!“

“My husband and I live closest to this Bristol on Hurstborne. We have been going on Thursdays from time-to-time, and we like to sit in the bar area. The bartender is wonderful, and she remembered our preferences after the first time she ever waited on us. She is super friendly and attentive, always ready to give us excellent service. She is the reason we come back. The food has always been perfect!“
