“First time having Papa John's in YEARS. In the past, the crust was always chewy. Tried it because of the garlic stuffed crust. Pizza was HOT when I picked it up and still HOT when I got home. I'd say that's a plus. The pizza itself was just okay. Crust wasn't chewy, so at least it has improved on that. Location seemed clean. Was greeted promptly. Tried the jalapeno "poppers" - definite no. Also had the steak papadilla - again, no. Not the fault of the store.“

“I was looking for a diner in Covington KY and came across PeeWee's. After reading reviews and the fabulous menu, decided to try it and so happy we did on a busy Sunday! Friendly guests greeted us in the lot and we felt warm hospitality as soon as we walked in. You could tell the owner, PeeWee loves what he does and that customers love him back. The corned beef hash special was excellent and all of our selections were well prepared and flavorful. What a hidden gem!!!!“

“O'Bryons is the epitome neighborhood bar and restaurant in Newport. Service is courteous, friendly and timely. The bartender is very helpful and knowledgeable of the menu and drinks. Food is above average while being prepared well and fresh. The chicken wrap and chicken wings were tasty. Prices are reasonable for the area. Parking is a bit of a challenge with it all being street parking. Overall a good experience and worth trying out.“

“Everything about my wife and I having a date night went flawless here. The staff was super friendly and efficient. Waited for nothing.The food was very very tasty. Wasn't too spicy nor bland. My wife had the sampler platter, Everything was enormous portions. If you don't have a huge appetite this meal could be shared with 2 or even 3. The leftover chicken makes awesome stir fry BTW. Pretty authentic taste on Everything. I had the catfish, nothing to complain about here as well. We did find out reservations are a must.“

“Very interesting restaurant with great decor. Most of the food we ordered was delicious and came out quick and hot even being a busy evening. Very skimpy on the bacon on the double decker BLT (only 4 slices on the entire sandwich but taking out the middle bread made it normal lol..) the bread was buttered and grilled which was way better than toast in my opinion.. Mac and cheese bites, onion rings, cheese sticks, corn dog bites, and pretzel bites were all "store" bought (not homemade) but delicious and of great quality! I have a pet peace on microwaved soft pretzels because they are gummy and get hard too quick but these were not!! I'm sure they are baked and seemed to have butter drizzle with the salt and were fantastic!! boneless wings were big in size and they definitely aren't stingy with the sauce, which was a plus! Buffalo chips (Saratoga chips) have no spice on them but are handmade and good regardless.. service was mediocre (no asking if food was good, finally saw the empty glass and grabbed on passing for a refill, had to get her attention and ask for the check) but it was busy and everything was fine besides needing a refill.. temperature inside was super chilly so bring a jacket! Seemed to have a large variety of alcohol which is a plus to anyone who drinks I'm sure! Very loud atmosphere but that's expected in a wing place! Very reasonable pricing! “Our first time visiting! Both bartenders were super nice and welcoming! Drinks were great and the wings were killer! We also tried some fries and a spicy pizza roll all which were amazing! We went there on Sunday 5/5/24 around 1:00 and there were a few other patrons. The chicken was cooked to perfection and also really enjoyed the fries. Biggest thing here is the lemon pepper seasoning (in my Rick Ross voice) on anything here takes it up a notch. Basically slightly buttered poorly baked/cut french bread. Its mediocre with the sauce, but If you dump the garlic butter included with the pizza onto it its better, still not great though (never been a fan of that butter sauce nonsense but that bread needed something).Overall its a solid place if you aren't looking for fancy pizza. “Every single employee and I've dealt with at least 6 or 7 of them is great. They are fast and immediately greet u even If they can't help u right away. The cute girl with the rainbow hair is always bubbly and smiling and kind. The roughly 30 year old black guy also stands out. The older white guy isn't the most approachable guy in the world but he does his job and has went out of his way to help me a few times now. Overall this is probably the best fast food place in the area when it comes to staff. Haven't had a single complaint and I'm there at least 5 times a week.“

“Came to this location on 12/6/23 at 3:11pm. The gentleman that worked there was exceptional! Greeted us right away, chatted woth us and said the food would be done in 10-15 minutes. I waited in my car on break from work and he actually brought out my food to my car window and delivered it us with plates and napkins. Outstanding customer service. This guy went above and beyond!“

But then you realize that you can get more Snappy Tomato pizza. But then the planet thing happens again. So roller-coastery but overall great!“

“Quite literally my favorite wings of all time. Sauces: Might be the difference maker. For one they don't "go easy" on the amount. I always have some sauce left over on the bottom of the tray. Not an over powering amount but just enough. The flavors are just out of this world. I get Hot Buffalo and Teriyaki. The Teriyaki is incredibly sweet, and the Hot Buffalo is the perfect combination of both. The Wings: Uniform in size. Nothing too big or too little. Easy to cut with a fork. Perhaps more breading on the outer layer but doesn't bother me. They hire high schoolers to cook these in the back so they don't always get the temperature right but rarely an occurrence for me. The Ranch: a great compliment, it's not wing stop ranch but it's damn close. The Waffle Fries & Cheese: pretty unique combo. I love the idea of using waffle fries instead of your standard French fry. Unfortunately the cheese hardens up and doesn't fill up a full layer on top, for both reasons I would stick to a standard size of these instead of a basket of them. Plenty of excellent beers on tap. Inside is a great atmosphere and surround sound is some of the best I've heard in a sports bar. The patio area is pretty underwhelming. The TVs are all on one half of the room so depending on your seating you may be turn around the whole game. Otherwise there isn't anything they can do about it. Crossroads deserves much better than a 2 or 3 out of 5. Half of the reviews are a bunch of East-Siders upset about the self-service or cheap utensils. This place is a gem“

“actually tried out the Green hills Winton Rd location! for the first time! Food is on point! glad I can take my drink with me old sourhern lemonade with all this liquor in it! glad I live close. came here on Michele Sullivan-Wilson recommendations with her now, enjoying the company. Only complaint, instead of that big arse floor length mirror in the bathroom, add an extra toilet stall! One is not enough. Also, I don't know about the Reading Rd crowd,, but in Green hills, the non clean version rap lyrics playing at 3 in the afternoon, might not go over so well. “I ordered a pizza tonight 12/21/23 around 7:00PM and called up to let them know I was sick and preferred contactless delivery so I wouldn’t get the driver sick. And the guy who answered the phone was the nicest, most friendly employee I’ve interacted with in a long time. He told me he would be delivering it. He waited a distance from my door to make sure I got it before telling me to have a good night. Seriously in this day and age dealing with an employee who doesn’t make you feel like a burden is RARE! This guy was awesome and deserves a raise. I wish I would have got his name.“
