“First time having Papa John's in YEARS. In the past, the crust was always chewy. Tried it because of the garlic stuffed crust. Pizza was HOT when I picked it up and still HOT when I got home. I'd say that's a plus. The pizza itself was just okay. Crust wasn't chewy, so at least it has improved on that. Location seemed clean. Was greeted promptly. Tried the jalapeno "poppers" - definite no. Also had the steak papadilla - again, no. Not the fault of the store.“

“Charming old world home with Sicilian brick oven! The team was wonderful and very friendly. I travel frequently and always seek out small brick oven pizza's to try. I am excited to say that this is now my new favorite! The ingredients were fresh and plentiful and the crust is outstanding! It is an easy walk from Newport Aquarium, which means I will be going again and again. The cannoli pie is a great way to finish up the meal and will not disappoint. The owners were there and engaging and so welcoming!“

The charcuterie, the meat balls the pizza .... never have I ever had a bad bite. “Visited Rosie’s Italian Kitchen. Cannot believe it took us so long to check it out. Our server Austin gave very good suggestions and everything was outstanding ! We had the Arancini and Fried Lasagna bites to start and then the Honey Pie! Perfect blend of sweet heat . We also split the Cannoli Cookie with a scoop of vanilla gelato . Forgot to get a photo as we dug right in. We also met the Manager Alex and Kitchen Manager Victor who were so welcoming and made us feel like family . Already planning when we can go back !“

“Best pizza in Cincinnati.We ordered margherita and hawaiian pizzas, and they were both perfect. Il Gusto pizza is ultra thin and crispy with high quality ingredients. The margherita especially was fantastic, and even my young children loved it.The greek salad was fresh with a house made dressing. We wished there were whole kalamata olives, but it was still delicious.“

“After a few disappointing visits to "best holiday brunch" spots we decided to check out someplace under the radar - our radar at least. I am a sucker for Italian food and Via Vite was having an Easter Sunday Brunch Buffet. Seems like a no brainer to me. We placed our reservations on Open Table and were charged a 50% hold fee for the reservation. With so many people no-showing on reservations these days, this makes sense to me. We arrived just before our time and were quickly shown to our table. The server was prompt and before you know it, we were heading for food. The buffet was not large, but if the items were good, there's no need for volume. Quality over quantity every day. The food was exceptional for holiday meal. The pasta and gnocchi dishes were fresh and tasty. The breakfast dishes were excellent. Fresh scrambled eggs, not powdered eggs. The French toast was made with Italian bread with added an unexpected and pleasant twist to the classic breakfast item. The bacon was butcher cut and perfectly chewy - at least perfect for me. I know some people like it crunchy. There was also roasted strip steak, carved on demand, and perfect little desert cups. The menu said salmon, but I did see it, maybe I missed it. It doesn't matter, I was highly satisfied. We will return. My only real complaint has ZERO to do with the restaurant, the parking at Fountain Square was $9, flat rate. NINE DOLLARS for 90 minutes. I thought the purpose of 3CDC was to support businesses within the CBD and OTR. Over priced parking will deter people from coming downtown for something less formal. If you want to grab lunch say at CityBird, the parking will cost you more than a sandwich. Nonsense.“

“I had sold the City Saver App to a friend of mine. He told me that he and his wife came to Ali's for dinner to use the coupon. He was SO pleased with the food. He ordered the mushroom burger. He was impressed with the blends of meat and that you make your own patties. They never knew your restaurant existed if they hadn't had the App. He said they would definitely go back.“

“I have been tired of pizza in Cincinnati - so I just stopped eating it - until I tried this place! Finally, a pizza that’s light on sauce and heavy on flavor! And the crust is wonderful. You can get different types of hoagies such as hoagies with mushroom sauce or pizza sauce or just a hoagie with pizza sauce and cheese . I have got food here for many years. However, the employees that night handled it beautifully. Shoutout to Brandon who handled the situation greatly, defending both his coworkers and customers when they were being berated at by the unnerved customer. “A great place to sit down for some drinks and food and enjoy a great view of the city. Our server was very nice and the pizza I ordered was great. I don't personally drink but my party members said the drinks were good too.Kid-friendliness: There were 3 kids in our party, and there was a bit of a wait so they had a bunch of room to play in the grass nearby. The grass was well kept and the view was great and the kids enjoyed playing while waiting for a table.“

“I made a dinner reservation to celebrate my boyfriend's birthday, and everyone had a great time. The food, server, and atmosphere were phenomenal. The Lamb chops were cooked to perfection. I highly recommend everyone try out this restaurant if you're in the area. Now, finding this restaurant was complicated because of the GPS. The hotel offers valet parking for all guests for $14. I rate this restaurant 10/10.“

“Went on 2/10/24. We had a blast. The service was great, the food out of this world, and the atmosphere welcoming. I got the chicken wrap, and it never disappoints. My husband got the calzone, and loved it.We were laughing a LOT but the servers were nice about it. “A mixup with our carryout order turned into one the best customer service experiences in recent memory at Newtown Village Tavern. The owners were very attentive to our order mishap and had assured us our order would be hot and prepared as requested. The food was delicious and you now have our forever patronage. “Like the other location this Forno delivers every single time. The food is predictably delicious and the menue is fresh and bright. Let's talk about the tripe... the tomato sauce with it is the star and should be bottled for sale immediately. The gnochi is great. The artichoke soup is splendid. The pasta are all fantastic.“

“Really cool hangout spot with a HUGE space, indoor and outdoor. They have a ton of parking to accommodate the space. They have a QR code at every table, so ordering is pretty easy. The food itself is fine, nothing I would crave but they've got a decent menu with lots of pizza options. I would recommend the Very Veggie and Crafted Caprese. The pickle chips and fries are crispy too! It's a great place to go to if you have a big group. 5/5 for the ambiance but wish the food was better.“

“So, unlike every other Cincinnatian, I have mixed feelings on the pizza. It's definitely very yummy! But it doesn't blow me away. HOWEVER the jalapeño poppers are literally to die for. They are some of the most delicious things I have ever eaten. Especially when they have jus the right amount of heat, with a crispy shell on the outside. Sometimes I go here just to get the poppers after a long day. The servers and hosts are always friendly. What makes this 4 stars for me is I just don't love bars or restaurants with this type of vibe. It isn't my preference. “A great warm inviting speakeasy lounge industrial hybrid of a bar right above Goodfellas pizza shop. Grab a slice of pizza and a giant breadstick from below and head upstairs where they have incredible craft cocktails for reasonable prices in a very relaxed and inviting atmosphere with seating anywhere from couches to a classy bar to regular tables that can be pushed together to accommodate larger groups and an outdoor space! The bartenders are always extremely kind, knowledgeable, and great at crafting serious drinks of any sort. You need to go to the bar to get a beer but there is usually not much of a wait. Food trucks usually provided food but they have the pizza company that used to be at MadTree. We enjoyed the pizza at MadTree so assume it will be just as good here.“

In the past year though the pizzas seem underdone when we’ve gotten them at the restaurant or done carry out…it makes us question now whether the price difference ($24-$28 for a Dewey’s vs $10-12 for a “chain pizza” ) is worth it! “The vibe during a Bengals game was crazy. Seemed a bit under staffed for it though - had some minor trouble getting service. Great TV angles and we liked our food. Pizza is pretty standard though so I'd go for burgers or other menu items instead.“

“I’ve been coming here for a couple years. It is a gem of a place. You cannot find better food for this price downtown or anywhere else in general. Every member of the team there is very friendly and has nailed customer service. Today I was inspired to write this review because I saw the chef making some French toast. He was treating the motions with so much care, attention, and grace, it was like watching an artist at work. It is clear the people here take pride in their work, and you can taste it. “I don't usually leave reviews for takeout, but I stopped in yesterday eve to pick up some dinner, and as soon as I arrived, I was greeted with a smiling face asking me if I was dining in or picking up. The girl, a younger gal, with longer blonde hair (possibly wavy curls, but can't remember completely) then went to look for my food. As I was waiting, which wasn't long, two other employees at separate times, asked if I had been helped with smiles on their faces too. I can't tell you how refreshing this was. Whoever is running this location is doing something right with the sweet employees you have. I work in experience at a local hospital and was so impressed and appreciative of the genuine kindness I received just to pick up a pizza. Thank you so much!! Please also tell the staff working around 7:30pm on 4/10/24 that they are awesome and very much appreciated!! Oh and the food was delicious too!!“
