So i googled Ethiopian coffee shops in Louisville and found Abol cafe. visited today and had some pour over coffee, it was the best coffe i've ever had, and i have tried coffee everywhere!!!! believe me when I say this place has the best Coffee around. “This place is fantastic! I was recently in Louisville for a conference and went here for breakfast every morning, usually with work colleagues. The empanadas were excellent, the tea and coffee was great, the service was helpful and friendly, and the restaurant was spotless. In particular, there was an exceptionally wide variety of empanadas to choose from. If you like empanadas, this is the place in Louisville!“

“This was one of the best tasting breakfasts we’ve ever had and that’s saying a lot since we are in our mid-50s. My husband ordered the mushroom grits and I had the eggs and grains. Delicious! It won’t be easy to top. Also, we had one iced and one hot Kentucky coffee. They were both delicious but the hot one rated just a touch above the cold one.“

“Whenever we visit an area we like to try the foods that are distinct to it. In the case of Louisville this meant a hot brown and derby pies. We were surprised and relieved to be able to get into the cafe for lunch without too much difficulty. My wife and I split the hot brown. It was sooo good! The turkey part of the meal was so thick that we originally thought it was bread. As for the derby pie I personally didn't like it all that much but my wife did. It seems I'm not a pecan/almond pie person. The atmosphere of the restaurant was great and you could tell it was full of a lot of history. The service was generally good, but I wasn't given a refill of water until after we had finished our meal and were ready to leave.“

“Beautiful restaurant! So chic and comfy. Quick service. Everything in here is so tasty! I had something from the bakery, a Korean sandwich and black coffee, and everything was extremely delicious. We were having the time of our life and accidentally broke a cup, I was so ashamed, but someone from the staff was so kind and comprehensive. If I could, I'd be in here every day and try out all the menu.“

“It's almost the end of 2024 and I've been having Clean Eatz this entire year. I'd say 90% of everything I've eaten this year has been CE. To say it's been a huge game changer for me is an understatement. I had a stubborn 10lb that wouldn't go away from the Covid years. That was gone in the first couple months. I was also able to set PRs in all distances-5k, 10k, 15k, half marathon and marathon. Having healthy food from Ce definitely played a huge part in that. Prior to this year I'd never ran more than 1200 miles in a year and I'm coming up on 1800 for the year! Also I haven't been sick this entire year where I'm normally sick at least one or two times. It all starts with your diet and I'm so incredibly blessed that I discovered CE.“

The egg bites with potato and Gouda along with the biscuit with egg and bacon were particularly yummy. Staff at this location are always friendly and hard working! Worth a visit or several!“

I combed the Internet and found it being listed on Facebook marketplace and this business is listed for pickups on all stolen goods, I contacted them , and I will let the labor board and immigration authorities determine if they're using under the table tactics and criminals of fugitive status“

“My Dr office is there at Jewish. I will go over to the cafe after an appointment sometimes. Their food is not bad for a hospital. They were in between lunch and dinner when I was in there today. So everything but the grill was closed. The employees are friendly and they keep it clean. Their prices aren't bad.“

“I have the most perpetually unimpressed 3.5 year old and he absolutely LOVED Glow Worm. The building is easy to find, lots of parking, the staff are super friendly and the facility was so clean. My husband and I both got items from the cafe and I think we'll come back just for those honestly. If it was closer to my house, I would take my kid a couple of times a week!“

“Moved to the area a little over a year ago and always wanted to try First Watch but with their hours and our schedule never aligning we never got to go until today. We ordered the million dollar breakfast sandwich and the choose two with the turkey avocado sandwich and the chicken chopped salad. We also got the dragon fruit drink, the honey cruch iced coffee, and the salted caramel doughnuts. Drinks were very good. Food was good except my order was wrong they gave me the Cobb salad and when I told our waitress the issue and the mistake and all she said was that she could bring me some chicken for the salad. I declined because we were already done eating and I didnt see the point of the chicken when they were two completely different Salads and toppings. I don't like blue cheese which was all over my salad so I picked around it and ate what I could and my half sandwich. Other than that the experience was good. Just disappointed and not the happiest with the resolution.“
