“I’ve been to mid city about 5 times, it was amazing the first time I went and every time I go it gets better. The staff are amazing people! They have nailed both food & service. When you eat here, they make every guest feel special. Just this week I went to a high end restaurant in Cincinnati and was treated like an inconvenience because I had an infant with me. Then I came to mid city and they were so accommodating of the baby. They knew who we were right when we walked in, they gave us a huge table with plenty of space, kept saying how glad they were we came, it was pouring rain outside so they gave us towels to wipe off, they helped us to our table, even helped carry the car seat. That’s how you run a restaurant. There’s a reason they have a 4.9 star rating on Google, it’s because I don’t think 5 star is possible.“

“This place is genius. Your dogs can run and play with other dogs and you can have a beer and a smash burger. Lee owns the place and he's amazing. He has one rule. “The food is epic. It definitely over delivers. The wings are fantastic, brined, rubbed, smoked and I am assuming fried prior to serving. The flavor is fantastic, even with the tame (by heat) sauces. These are easily on par with Knock Back Nats wings and not as spicy, so they probably appeal to many more.I also had the Smoked and Fried Bologna Sandwich! Epic! Tater tots are really good, and the kids' chicken and waffles were also excellent. We will be back for sure. I suggest you try this place out if you hadn't before. Being inside Alexandria Brewing Company is also a bonus as they have some pretty solid beers as well.Ok we went back on a Saturday. And they definitely need to step up their game in the kitchen. They took orders with buzzers. Why they don't take all orders as they come is beyond me. wouldn't you want to know what's incoming? I don't know. The food was great the first time. “This place is so much fun. We stopped here since we saw some igloos on the sidewalk and inquired inside. Unfortunately you need to book those in advance so we just grabbed a spot at the bar. The waitress was very helpful in explaining the menu and getting us our flight of drinks very quickly. We also ordered the loaded potato dip and it was delicious! Had to try the "chili" for chili week and it was a delicious bowl of ice cream with rice crispys. Overall 5/5 stars, when we are back in the Cincinnati area we will stop by.“
“When this first opened, I came here and the music was too loud and the women barristas weren't very friendly. But now I've started coming here as often as possible! I really like Katie, the barrista and the fact that it is not crowded at all in the early afternoon so I can sit and work. Music is now great. And they just started carrying my favorite cheese, Kerry Gold. I wish there wasn't a fan intermittently blowing cold air down on me, but I can live with that. The coffee (Urbana) is great. This is just down the street from where I live. Win, win! (oh and the green St Pat cookies are way good.“

It’s the little things like great water pressure and temperature in the shower, incredibly soft towels and robes, and billowy-soft pillows that really made The Lytle a favorite! “This was one of the most interesting bars I’ve been to. It almost gave me like an oldies speakeasy vibe. They had a fireplace both inside and outside and the place felt very intimate and cozy. One of the workers pulled out the chair for me and also helped me get my coat on which felt very high in. Our waitress was very nice and made sure to come back quite a few times to check on us (I don’t personally like when waiters do this, as it makes me feel rushed, but I still wouldn’t change my rating). The live music was cool and they have speakers outside so you could hear if you sit out there. They don’t have prices on the menu which sort of stinks. I thought it would be very expensive because the prices were not shown but my drink (Milky Way) was only $9 ( I wish they would put the prices on the menu. My friend mentioned she would have gotten another if she knew it wasn’t too expensive). Wonderful atmosphere. My drink was also amazing; it was amaretto with hot coco.“

The bar is basically designed around the tree adding a level of uniqueness of the bar. You'll find casual seating at the bar, more intimate lounge type seating to the left, or venture out to the rooftop area where you'll find the famed football goal post on the roof. “LOVE Liberty's! I recently visited twice in the same week due to how great this place is. First on a Saturday night which was busy; all the outdoor tables and the entire bar were full, we luckily were able to grab one of the couches to sit on. This visit I opted for the Non-Alcoholic Wine which was very good and tasted just like real Riesling! My friends all got classic Liberty Mules - some Moscow and some Kentucky - as well as some wine - it is so amazing this place has so many options for everyone! I came back again on a Thursday after work when they had just opened and was able to secure a spot at the bar - this time I opted for the espresso martini and WOW was it delicious! It quickly started to fill up as we were there so we were happy we had our seats secured early. Both of these times I had the same bartender who was so friendly, attentive and helped answer all our questions on the menu. She was super flexible in our ordering and always made sure our water cups were full which was greatly appreciated! Overall this place has the best of everything - atmosphere, drinks and staff - I cannot wait until I am back again!“

We went to the downtown Cincinatti and then the Covington KY locations. Each has their own unique things to love.Here at the downtown Cinci location was an amazing night. We get there and go up the staircase to the lounge immediately gives a bit of anticipation. It opens up int o a nice sized eating area with probably a 20 seat bar a couple couches, some high tables and stairs to a 3rd floor with a little more seating.When I tell you this bar has a lot of bottles, it has a lot of bottles. Their spirit book is probably at least a half inch thick. I've gotten into whiskey over the past 3 years so when it comes to chasing bottles and pours I'm still new to making it happen. But they definitely have just about everything you're looking for. Maker's wood finishing, 4 Roses single barrels, various Blantons, Elijah, Jim Beam specials bottles, it's all there.The bartender also was amazing, we gave him some examples of what we usually drink and he led us down a drinking path that was excellent. Now some pours are definitely pricey, others are in line with what to expect, and some surprised me by being less than I expected. But you're there for the drink right? You don't have spend a couple hundred to try some exceptional and hard to find whiskey. You can spend far less and still try some great bottles. But if you want an experience with bottles you only hear of in legend, can't find no matter how hard you look, and some really good store picks, then this is the bar for you!P.S. Try their 4 Roses pick, it was an OESK and phenomenal!! Definitely the best bottle i tried. 2nd went to their 1793 Full Proof store pick. I'm not a fan of 1792, I've tried all their stuff they regularly have on the shelf, and I now am going to chase other full proof store picks bc of their bottle!“
“Very interesting restaurant with great decor. Most of the food we ordered was delicious and came out quick and hot even being a busy evening. Very skimpy on the bacon on the double decker BLT (only 4 slices on the entire sandwich but taking out the middle bread made it normal lol..) the bread was buttered and grilled which was way better than toast in my opinion.. Mac and cheese bites, onion rings, cheese sticks, corn dog bites, and pretzel bites were all "store" bought (not homemade) but delicious and of great quality! I have a pet peace on microwaved soft pretzels because they are gummy and get hard too quick but these were not!! I'm sure they are baked and seemed to have butter drizzle with the salt and were fantastic!! boneless wings were big in size and they definitely aren't stingy with the sauce, which was a plus! Buffalo chips (Saratoga chips) have no spice on them but are handmade and good regardless.. service was mediocre (no asking if food was good, finally saw the empty glass and grabbed on passing for a refill, had to get her attention and ask for the check) but it was busy and everything was fine besides needing a refill.. temperature inside was super chilly so bring a jacket! Seemed to have a large variety of alcohol which is a plus to anyone who drinks I'm sure! Very loud atmosphere but that's expected in a wing place! Very reasonable pricing!
