“My Brother and I made a trip from Richmond Kentucky for lunch. Hadn't ate at Hall's in over 20 years. No reason other than convenience. Read reviews prior to this visit. Only issue listed consistently was quality of service. Our food was great! It was hot and tasty. I'm not a big fan of their French fries, but they were alright. They were fresh and hot. I had the fried catfish and my brother had the beer battered fish and chips, both fabulous. Coleslaw and hush puppies were really good. Manager greeted and seated us. She was very friendly. Server did a good job too. Restrooms were clean. The internal structure of the building was in need of remodeling. Had to battle some flies, but I'm having to do that in my home this summer too. More than usual. Overall we were pleased with the experience. It's not a top notch dining experience, but not a flop either. Manager made a point to wish us a good afternoon on the way out. She stayed busy the whole time, setting a good example for her staff.“
