“My wife and I were so pleased to see the thoughtful design of Enoch's a Cafe, the best coffee shop in the Garden District! Usually we worry about how well a wheelchair can get in, especially when the building used to be someone's house a long time ago. Enoch's a Cafe has a solid concrete pad for accessible parking, with a smooth surface leading up to a gently sloped ramp. And the interior is great too--you can wheel right up to the cutout below the register! But enough about the building, let's talk about the people and the food and drinks. Everyone there was friendly, knowledgeable, and eager to help us. And her chicken salad wrap, my ice cream, and her iced tea all passed with flying colors. (And no, that's not a joke about the Superman ice cream. They call it something else here.) I'm looking forward to trying their breakfast next!“

“The best ice cream I’ve had by far! The last 2 times I’ve been have been horrible experiences. One time there was a frozen moth in my ice cream cup, the second time I ordered a small twister and received a small cup with two bites of ice cream in it. The staff is rude. I’ve never had a bad experience until this summer. Will definitely be visiting the West Monroe location from now on.“

A special treat there is their chicken and sausage gumbo. Another special dish is their red beans and rice serving. They can handle large parties and they have an excellent bar. Prices are good, too.“

“I can’t say enough about Catfish Charlie’s. We lost our brother recently and his wish was for family to get together after memorial at Catfish Charlie’s. He loved this place. We all ate there last night and it was wonderful. They all went way beyond the normal to make sure we were all taken care of. The food was incredible. We can never thank y’all enough for making our Brother’s wish come true.“

“I have always loved Not Just Pie. Their new location is perfect. We recently visited family in north Louisiana for Thanksgiving. Knowing we had to go to Monroe---i was dreaming of having a slice of their banana caramel pie. Literally dreaming of it! It was a huge heartbreaking disappointment to find out that they were completely out. 😭 I didn't realize i had to order one in advance during the Thanksgiving holiday. You live and learn. Had a piece of their strawberry cream pie. It was delicious but Im still dreaming of that banana caramel cream pie. Oh yeah....the food is great too!“

“This Red Lobsters in Monroe is amazing. First let me talk about Mekayah she's a great waitress. She's very attentive and she has great customer service. I love her presence when I come to this location, Mekayah gets a A+ from me. The area is nice and it's right by The Pecanland Mall. Keep up the good work Red Lobster!!“

“Before Covid this was my favorite place to eat then CoVid hit and I have truly hated coming here.. But decided after such a long time away we would try again..And I am so glad we did..Dennis and his trainee Essence were so kind and respectful!! The food was great!! Service great!! Definitely will finally be back!!!!“

“We came here for lunch and was seated immediately. We ordered a drink and appetizer at the same time. When the appetizer came out we then put in our entree order. I've learned that if you put your entree order in too close to your appetizer order it all comes out at the same time. This day we had a traditional cheeseburger cook medium. It came out hot juicy and cooked to perfection. It was delicious. I was dining with my mother-in-law and we shared the cheeseburger and the fries. For the appetizer we got the spicy chicken bites which I had planned to bring the rest home to my daughter but I forgot them on the table. Bummer. With one appetizer and a cheeseburger entree and two drinks the total was about $27. Not too bad imo. We were very busy and not alot of time but wanted to sit for lunch instead of driving through somewhere. The Parmesan Crusted Chicken is a Fave, too but I love a good juicy cheeseburger once in a while.“
