“I have tasted my fair share of pizzas. However, I ordered a small combo pizza and a Turkish salad last night while staying in Abita Springs! ! I ate two small pieces and I was full! The crust and toppings were plentiful and amazingly delicious! I just finished the rest tonight! If anyone is visiting Abita Springs, Louisiana, you HAVE to try their pizza! I am certain everything on the menu is delicious as well!”

“A true neighborhood bar atmosphere. Very friendly staff and patrons. Bar is small which gives it a much friendlier vibe than a huge, long bar. Pool tables stay busy as does the jukebox, both saying positive things about Shannon’s. Food selection is limited, but it is a bar, not a restaurant. %@&*SMOKING IS ALLOWED. SO IF cigarettes offend you, I warned you. Cigarettes/alcohol store next door. Laundry, awesome nail salon, hair salon, even sewing machine repair…it’s all right here in the same little plaza. Easy in and out parking spots after a “fun” bar time, lol. All reasonably priced so I suggest you check it out!

“The food is good and most of the service is top notch. The key word being "most". Our crew normally has lunch there 1-3 times a week. We also request separate tickets and we all tip, because we know what it's like to hustle. The last time we were there, Mike the waiter rushed over to bring us menus and take our drink order. After bringing us drinks, he spent a good 20+ minutes of walking past our table. Our drinks ran dry and he hadn't taken our order. We asked one of the waitresses to take over our table. She said that she couldn't do that, but she did take our orders and put them through, she also filled our drinks. She then delivered our food to us when it was ready. We were still watching Mike running from table to table, but never to ours. I told her that she deserved the tip, she said that she can't do that. This is not the first time that Mike has run up to claim table and then given us mediocre to poor service. We did notice that he's well attentive to little old ladies and such. I'm not sure what the issue is and I'm not trying to figure that out. Our crew has come to an agreement that we're not paying for that kind of service. We will request someone else when he runs to claim our table. If we can't have a different server. Starting that moment we will just take our business to the Brew Pub, MamaD's or have lunch at one of the many places in Covington.”

“Really nice trio of young men working in there this evening. Took my picky daughter in and they made her a custom smoothie she enjoyed. They had a few people in line and they rotated us through quickly and efficiently each doing a task and got us in out and fast. They were all super courteous. I asked 2 of them their names, Dominic and Mikey...not sure what the other name was.. he was blending another smoothie as when we were leaving. Just wanted to give a shout out to them all as they were all great. Job well done Smoothie King! We'll be back.”

“Tandem is my go-to spot to catch coffee and a snack when I’m working remotely in Mandeville. The decor is beautiful, especially the bar area, the drinks and food are always delicious and fresh, and the staff is the absolute bee’s knees!! I’ve attended a handful of events there as well, from cookie decorating classes to Drag Bingo and Tandem always handles the crowds with skill. Thank you Tandem for being a bright spot in our community!”

“Was just going for a ride when I passed this place up. Inside has a cozy yet modern feel to it. Almost like having breakfast or lunch at mom's. Place was very organized, and everyone was so friendly to me that I felt like part of the family. Oscar and his mom Carol are amazing. Now to the food! This is definitely what we need in Mandeville. The tacos were amazing, and the Pupusas were phenomenal. Can't wait to try breakfast. I definitely will be back, and I'm sure it will be a weekly visit for me. Thank you so much”

“We had the most wonderful experience at Keith Youngs for the rehearsal dinner for our sons wedding in the wine room! The night couldn't have been better! We had a party of 35. The staff, the food, the ambiance was amazing! The staff catered to our every wish including the children who were with us and worked tirelessly to see that the evening went off perfectly! All of our guests were highly complimentary of the evening. Many many thanks to Lisa and George and their wonderful staff for an outstanding evening and we look forward to going back soon!”
