“As being from Wisconsin there is always Frozen Custard shops actually everywhere up there, and I have always wanted Frozen Custard since I moved back home to Louisiana but could never get it down here, now that Freddy's is here I can get all the Frozen Custard I want, I love it.“

“If you go, give your tip directly to your server in cash and tell them it's not a tip, but a gift. Koal's pays their employees weak pay and acts like they're doing them a favor. Multiple employees over the years have told me Koal's keeps the tips we pay for the servers to have saying that the employees can have them if they want to make $2 an hour. Love the food there, but I won't support them after finding this out.“

“Our First Time Visiting from Jax. FLORIDA and Alayna was the Bestest!!! She explained the menu, we purchased items like a couples meal...not named that...ahaha but we were genuinely satisfied after eating...we had 4 burgers with waffle fries and a drink the sauce on the burgers are tasty and the queso for the fries a neat twist 😋...now the temps are about 95 degrees on our visit...but with the fans blowing...because its only outside seating But Alayna put down the sun screens for us it was comfortable and shady...another staff member separated our meals like a couples thing...cute...BUT the whole establishment is cute, love the color of the building, the food was good, they have waffle fries 🍟 and it was perfect with a root beer drink. Thank You Alayna!!! For your Awesome Alexandria Treatment!!! We Loved it!!!“

“My grand daughter with young son and I enjoyed delicious meals - (fried fish , shrimp ,hush puppies , Fr fries , onion rings Cole slaw and Hamburger ) !! She lives in NOrleans and was so impressed with quality of the meals AND the price !! I’ve been eating there a good while and have NEVER been disappointed in any way ! Seating is a small area but not crowded feeling ! Drive up window also - give order , drive around , park , and shortly the meal is delivered to your car ! “Everything is awesome here, except the gumbo…the gumbo is gross (i.e. flavorless) and too expensive for its quality, drive a bit further in either direction and you’ll definitely find better. The chicken cracklins’ are second to none! Do stop. Don’t order the gumbo…unless they’re touting a new recipe.“

“Today was my first visit to this place after numerous recommendations fom friends. It was midafternoon so instead of breakfast, I decided I felt like ordering the classic burger and some onion rings to get a general baseline of the place. The onion rings were unexpectedly spicy. The burger was easily the best I've had in a decade or more. Our waitress, Shelby, was pleasant and efficient and made the whole experience a lovelier one.

I'll try an omelette the next time I go, and see how it stacks up to Huddle House, but in any case, I am certain this is my new burger go-to spot.

Also, the coffee was hot and tasty, and seemed fresh, and I might be mistaken, but I think the refill was free.“

“Best Wendy's of the 3 in alec. Fast, fresh. Service was awesome. Lobby is clean. All sodas were in stock. Ice worked. Ketchup pump works. Utensils stocked.

“Our server, its killing me because I can't remember her name but she was adorable, she was steady with visits to make sure we were satisfied, not pushy at all, it was comfortable. Food was good, we had the 2 for 25 Cajun salmon, garlic mash and broccoli and the avocado chicken and bacon salad and the cutest little thing ever that was just enough because for me it was rich in taste, was the 2.99 dark chocolate brownie with ice cream. Hey get it! and if you want more, get another one 🤣. But it was all very good. Thank You!!“

This one was THE only one to have nice and friendly people, great service, and even had the maintenence guy helped and brought me my food and didn't have to. “Have been a customer since 1980. Have dined in over 200 locations throughout the U.S. I had my usual sonic burger and fries yesterday. Off of Jackson st. Here in alexandria. The meat was not as I expected. Not going to be mean.just disappointed“
