“My husband and I have been going to Stabs in Central for many years. We normally go on Sunday for brunch (because of babysitter availability) but we were able to go for dinner last night to celebrate our anniversary. When I tell you the flat iron steak we had was 100% PERFECT, I’m not exaggerating. Temp was perfect. Cut was perfect. Flavor was perfect. French onion soup was perfect. Thank you, David, Kori and everyone else who played a hand in our most recent experience. Y’all are amazing!!“

“So happy to find this place. We just moved here from Texas and was afraid I could find a good thai restaurant. I tried a few in Baton Rouge and this is the place. The food is flavorful and so good. Some plates are different than some I've tried but they are very good either way. I got hot level on my drunken noodle and it was spiiiicy. Love it though, I recommend mild so you can enjoy your food lol. I was just craving spicy so I took on the challenge and it was what I was expecting. The rice was so flavorful my wife and daughter loved bothering the rice and soup.“

“The person who takes the orders is very friendly. The food came out quick. The sandwich has tofu eggs, some kind of sausage and then a cream cheese sauce on really tasty bread. They also have vegan grits but I didn’t try those. They have a vegan and gf cookie, a non gf vegan cookie, and a brownie. The atmosphere is great #Veganuary“

Tables downstairs plus the bar area. Upstairs has couch areas which are great for visiting comfortably!

The service is excellent, and the food is really really delicious considering this is a bar. It's not a place for dinner. A great place for apps and drinks!“

“Been wanting to go there, kicking myself for waiting so long to go. Had lunch with a long time friend. Great food, excellent service, nice atmosphere. She had the grilled redfish and I had the pot roast. I swapped potatoes for red beans. It was fork tender and delicious. Their house dressing is a citrus vinegarette that I ♡.“

“The food was amazing. We enjoyed the Sunday brunch menu which included the French onion soup, fried oyster salad and for entrees we ate the New Orleans Crab Cake Benedict and Short Rib Benedict. The manger was so gracious as to give me a small bottle of champagne to take home since all the desserts were made with chocolate and I am allergic. We will definitely be back for the dinner menu. Fantastic table side service, beautiful ambiance and excellent master chef food.“

“Abdul made a special lamb shank just for me. I have to tell you that was the best lamb shank I’ve ever eaten in my life. Café Petra is one of my wife and I favorite restaurants in both Baton Rouge and then Saint Francisville . If you have a desire for Greek Lebanese food, you cannot miss Café Petra not only is the food delicious the service is great. The people there are very nice. It’s a great experience for anybody but don’t take my word for it. Go to Café Petra.“

“The service was great; the atmosphere was pretty chill, the food was decent. It wasn't busy at all, which made it even better for us. Their forks double as chopsticks, though I wouldn't rely on that inversion very much. They're pretty flimsy.

I had the spicy chicken, and the egg roll. It was pretty good. I was able to tolerate the spice. My companion, however... was not. The veggies looked a little questionable, and that's the only reason for my lower rating. I didn't have any issues afterward, though.

Parking was free. Ordering was quick and easy. The staff helping us made the experience painless.

They even brought our order to us, and basically catered around us, when they didn't have customers in line. This could be the norm, but in my experience, most fast food places just make you come to the counter to grab your food, and you're pretty much on your own from there.

“The pizza was delicious!! Love all the flavor combos!! The guy at the front was really nice and accommodating for my first time. (Ps you can get more than one crust flavor) Trust me, do it! Got the meat lovers add feta and onions with onion, garlic and Cajun crust seasoning... So fing good!! 🤤 Can barely wait till my next cheat day!“
