“Kool little place we found last time we were here . We made sure to hit it 2 times on this trip . Banana’s Foster for the Bride & the Hash with over easy eggs for me ! Both times ! Go earlier if you can . If you aren’t an early bird and have to wait,…..it’s Worth it !!!! Food is amazing ?“
“I'm not a strict vegetarian, but I needed a break from all the fried food in the Quarter. Loved this place. The Orbit bowl was warm and filling, with perfectly balanced flavors. The fresh juice was wonderful too.The seating area is nice but the chairs scrape loudly on the floor.“
“We recommend. Had American breakfast. Super quality and very good price-performance ratio. Had 'Grits' for the first time and it was delicious. Very friendly and warm employees. Nice ambience. Restaurant has a large influx, speaks for itself.“
“Always consistently fresh and healthy. Friendly helpful team members. Our go to place!Vegetarian options: Great options that are substantial and healthy. You won’t leave looking for something missing even if you are an omnivore.Dietary restrictions: These guys are great. Will work with quirks like garlic and onion sensitivity, gf.“
“Hivolt Coffee in New Orleans stands out as not just a coffee shop, but a staple in the local café scene, offering a delightful array of options that cater to the health-conscious without sacrificing taste or portion size. It has quickly become one of my favorite destinations for coffee and more in the city, thanks to its consistently high-quality offerings and welcoming atmosphere. The Oozy Breakfast paired with a latte is my go-to choice, a combination so satisfying that it leaves little desire to explore other options. The dishes here are not only incredibly tasty but are also generous in serving size, ensuring that you leave feeling fully satisfied. The latte, smooth and perfectly balanced, complements any meal choice wonderfully and showcases Hivolt's expertise in coffee making. One of the most commendable aspects of Hivolt is the demeanor of its staff. Every visit is met with kindness and patience, contributing significantly to the overall positive experience. Their approachability and efficiency make each interaction pleasant, from ordering to enjoying your meal and drink. The ambiance of Hivolt is further elevated by its selection of music, which enhances the relaxed and friendly environment. This, combined with the café's ample seating and decently fast WiFi, makes it an ideal spot for those looking to work remotely or simply enjoy a leisurely coffee break. The space is designed thoughtfully, allowing for both productivity and relaxation. In conclusion, Hivolt Coffee offers an exceptional experience for coffee lovers and health food enthusiasts alike. Its blend of delicious, healthy options, excellent coffee, friendly staff, and a conducive environment for work or leisure makes it a must-visit location in New Orleans. Whether you're a local or just passing through, Hivolt promises a welcoming space where quality and satisfaction are guaranteed.“
“This place is absolutely incredible. The food was spectacular and peanut butter protein smoothie was the best I’ve ever had. The staff is so incredibly kind. I also bought the juices from the fridge, I drank the Pina-kaleada one today and it was amazing. I got the chicken grain salad bowl and that was also to die for. 10000000% recommend“
“This is a real cute little cafe near the convention center. We went on a Saturday late morning and only had to wait about 20m in line. Well worth the wait! Crab Cake Benedict was delicious, pancakes were, too. Not sure what they put in them, but it works. The French toast was good, could have been soaked a little longer, but still good. Juices are fresh squeezed! Everyone was nice, although very busy. My favorite part, the grits!“
“Simply Marvelous Nutrition is a must for morning routines. Their products are top tier, the flavors are always on point, the staff is welcoming and super friendly. I always look forward to getting my loaded tea or shake in the morning and saying hello to the friendly staff.“
“Some say the day starts when the sun rises, but any masters of life know time doesn't begin until you've stepped into Satsuma Cafe. Forget the fart (& whatever else) that freely flowed out of you in the early AM. No need to remember the muscle you pathetically pulled failing to reach the snooze button shortly after. Nothing before Satsuma matters. (And nothing after.) Married? Now you're single. A parent? There was never a child. Employed? Step directly to the cash register to completely omit any & all responsibilities. Who needs a paycheck, family or a life when the cuisine & vibes are this spectacular? Without Satsuma you are nothing. Make something of yourself - nay - make something EXTRAORDINARY of yourself & come support a cafe that will revolutionize the very core of your DNA. I had the lavendar lemonade and brunch hash. Was good. 5 stars.“
“3rd coming here and it never fails. The service is the best service anyone could experience. They are so friendly. Valentina was over the top friendly. Made us feel like family. I recommend the arepas they are so delicious. They won me as a client. It’s a must to come here!“
“Food establishments are required to have a customer bathroom. At SUBWAY across the street people behind the counter would not give me the key after looking at each other for a few minutes they said it was out of order. Bought my food at this AMAZING cafe and paid roughly the same amount . The food was sooooo good, the service was AWESOME, the vibe was nice and we enjoyed it! SUBWAY'S loss was our gain!“
“Don’t tell me the world is ending with food this good. Just stop. This place had it all, good sandos, salads, bevies, their own homemade seasoned potato chips, all kinds of bomb sauces and dressings, and it was super duper fresh, like garden in the back fresh. Like who’s your plug fresh? Like it took me back to a world pre pandemic. I seriously was sitting there like I had time traveled everything slapped so hard. This place and its people have a bright future. Someone with bread is gonna sit down in there and be like let’s expand. I’ll be back soon. Like it is seriously some of the best food in Nola. I ate a bunch of things that would typically never interest me, but they were so good it made me feel like I’ve been living wrong.“
“I found Botanicals NOLA through a Google Maps search for health food when I was having crazy medical issues. Their sea moss has saved me! The food is vegan, healthy, and delicious! After two days in a row of their sea moss smoothies, my energy bounced back as never before! Cheaper than my doctor’s copay to boot. Their chickpea sandwich, avocado toast, and peanut butter toast are healthy and filling. Their ginger shots are packed with ginger! I recommend washing it down with their sea moss lemonade. Idk why people said the staff were rude or slow. I have been coming here over a year and never had this issue (it must’ve been resolved). I had my 2 smoothies and toast in under 8 min with another customer’s order ahead of me. Atmosphere is great, stylish, sunny, welcoming, and clean/selfie-worthy bathroom. Highly recommend!!“
“It was soooo dmn good !! lol it was my first time here, I looked at the menu before coming and seen if you can't decide do half and half, I did half mango, half coconut, added granola, bananas, strawberries, kiwi's, with a peanut butter and Nutella drizzle. Fresh & refreshing. The cashier and workers were very nice.“
“Do not miss out on this gem of a place! Delicious vegan treats and luscious soft serve - I had a coconut lime cream pie and a small lavender-vanilla soft serve. The cafe itself is beautiful and vibrant, with tables, chairs or couches.Service was impeccable, so warm and friendly!“
“As some with multiple, severe food restrictions, Lamara was a wonderful surprise. Almost everything is gluten-free, and I had numerous dairy free and mammal free options as well.Vegetarian options: So many options! Try the Spring Roll bowl!Dietary restrictions: I am gluten-free and have alpha-gal. Earing out is always challenging and often disappointing. It was wonderful to have so many options.Kid-friendliness: Open space, bright and airy.Wheelchair accessibility: Wide open spaces and hallways.“
“Hands down the best Bloody Mary in town! On my recent trip to NOLA I’ve tried several bloody marys at several different places but have to say the best ones are at the Organic Banana in the French Mkt.They make it with love with the right amount of ingredients and the best part is they are only $10. Definitely one of my highlights for the trip and look forward to coming back for these!!! Yumm!! ?“
“My kids love bubble tea and we were on the Westbank , so we found this little spot by using google. I'm so glad we did! The teas and boba options were familiar but unique and the cheesecake was phenomenal! The service is amazing and it's bright and comfortable inside. Highly recommend!“
“Great customer service. I would advise that the owners prepare the employees with a bit more knowledge in the products they serve for instant if I asked what does “Power” juice do. I was only told it had a lot of vegetables and even the menu you was pretty broad from a description standpoint. Smoothie king does a good job with their menu when it comes to explaining what each smoothie offers for your body.Parking: You have to pay but if you are in out quickly then you won’t have to pay“
“ive been meaning to go since theyve opened. such a good experience, the worker was very nice, its very clean yet welcoming, and the drink was soo good. i always get the same one at the lakeside location but it just hit different from here! love it will treat myself by comming here “
“Nowadays I coming quite often to New Orleans for work, and I do travel in USA and abroad often and abroad, as well. This place has one of the best coffees I have had in US; coffee is great here, from the best expresso, late and cappuccino, to excellent pastries and breakfast options. Ask for Jordan, he really knows about coffee, grains, and how to present a great coffee. I will stop by Gospel Coffee during my visits to NOLA, to get my Great Coffee. I am an expresso guy, and not everyone knows how to do a good expresso (where a good grain, pressure and temperature have to be carefully combined to extract it). Totally recommend!Parking: There are free street park, limited, and a huge parking lot in from. I am not sure if is free for short time or for the hotel.Wheelchair accessibility: WC access through the main hotel entrance“
“I work on the West Bank, and I am a regular here almost every day. There are a lots of these nutrition shops that are being opened. To be honest, I go out of my way to grab my teas here. The variety of choices can be intimidating, no matter how busy these ladies are... They take the time to explain the menu; that is a huge plus for me. The customer service is wonderful, extensive menu, and the store is super clean! The added bonus is they are one of the few shops open on Sunday. I highly recommend!“
“A Blissful Escape at Baya Bar: A Review to RememberIf you're searching for a place that seamlessly blends a laid-back atmosphere, delectable cuisine, and top-notch service, look no further than Baya Bar. Located in the heart of town, Baya Bar offers a truly unforgettable experience that leaves you craving more. From the moment you step through its doors, you're transported to a haven of relaxation and indulgence.“
“Great little spot for lunch. I had the raw cheesecake, which tasted incredible! The group bought some lunch bowls, which were a bit on the costly $15 side, but tested good. Not too much dining space inside the cafe, but sat on their benches outside.I also grabbed some vegan chocolate treats!Vegetarian options: Vegan options“
“I go to this location often as it's close to where I work. I always order using the app; sometimes I go to the drive-thru for pickup, sometimes I go in, depending on the drive-thru line. The staff does a great job at getting orders done quickly. They're friendly and, if I have to wait a minute or two when I go in, they always apologize. It's so refreshing to go to a place where the people are pleasant, do a great job with smiles on their faces and get the orders done quickly. I appreciate all that they do, and wish the one closest to where I live was even half as good as this one!! Keep up the great work, and I'll - and I'm sure many others - will keep ordering there!!! Thank you to the entire staff! :-)“
“This is a fantastic little independent coffee shop. The place is bright and clean, well decorated, and the owner works here. Every customer gets a personal greeting and a genuine smile. It has a drive-thru and there’s plenty of seating, some soft chairs and several tables, one perfectly suited for a group, with many outlets in the center for tech. I ordered a latte that is perfect, not all foam like I get from chains. The chocolate croissant reminded me of pastries I’ve had in Europe - buttery but not greasy, with high-quality dark chocolate that wasn’t ruined by lots of refined sugar. If I could give six stars for atmosphere, they would get six stars. The Baristas here know their products to the smallest detail; you can tell from the way they you questions about your order. They laugh and joke with customers but not at the expense of their work. They laugh WHILE working, not INSTEAD of working. If there was an Academy Awards for small businesses, this one would take the gold.“
“Wow the açaí bowls were unbelievable. They take their time making them so if you are in a hurry it might not be the place for you. The bowl maintained its coldness meaning it didn't melt! It was so good! Not icy at all. All toppings were generous and the flavors were exceptional. I enjoyed the fact that they gave a lot of granola. Many times places just sprinkle it, but not this place! I went two out of the 3 days I was there. Highly recommend!“
“A hidden gem! The location is a little tucked away in the corner of the shopping strip. Cute warm and welcoming atmosphere. Met the new owner, and she was so nice! The Bun Bo Hue was so good and flavorful… better than most places. My second favorite is the Bánh Bot Chien (Fried Rice Cake). A must try!“
“I walked in and the lady was super sweet and kind as she explained the menu options. She even offered me a sample of the jelly as I inquired about the PB&J smoothie bowl, which was great by the way. I can't wait to visit again as I enjoyed my bowl.Parking: Parking is not a problem.“
“Best place to get a loaded tea. I've driven from the northshore to buy my loaded teas from her. Love the inspirational messages on each cup. So blessed to have found this place.Dietary restrictions: It's a loaded tea shop. Anything you want, they got you.Parking: It's your basic parking lot.Kid-friendliness: They make my daughter feel like family every time we go. God bless these loving people.“
“Joan is a staple in the community and beacon of health and wellness! Let’s continue to support and uplift the work she is doing to bring healthy and affordable options to NOLA! ???Vegetarian options: Fresh, organic local!Dietary restrictions: Vegan friendlyParking: Park on street and side streets nearby. Walking distance to Canal stKid-friendliness: Great option for families and kids with dietary restrictions“
“I just love this place. Every time I come I lease feeling better. The drinks are unique and make you feel amazing. The vibe is great. The folks who run the place are super kind and I wish they were close to my side of town. They are now serving vegan food! I super recommend it.“
“I'm not sure why it took me so long to check this spot out as it's literally around the corner from me, but alas--better late than never. I only recently had bubble tea for the first time, but now I can't get enough. I got the mango passionfruit tea with lychee jellies and mango popping boba. It was super yummy, but I forgot to ask if they can adjust the sweetness here like you can at some other places. I didn't think that it was overly sweet, but a little less would have been perfect for me. They have milk teas, jasmine fruit teas, coffee, and smoothies. The shop is quiet and quaint, nestled into a small shopping center. I was the only person in the shop when I went, so I'm not sure it's ever super busy, but you should def check it out in you're in the area.“
“We came for the game opener of the season, Pelicans versus the Knicks. Entry was fairly simple. They had a line for those with bags to clear thru security and another for the bagless entrants. After the security check they scan your ticket and direct you to the left or right to find your section. There were many good options for food and drinks and of course Smoothie King was one. We had chicken tenders, fries, popcorn, sausage nachos, pizza and various drinks. There was even a Hennessy section. The stadium is nice and huge. They had free shorts on each seat for fans. The game was fun to watch and the crowd was so lively. Can't comment on parking.“
“Greatest place for good people and good food. The lemon pepper wings made my lips pucker and the hot honey wings has me lickin my fingers. Brandon is great energy and a welcome friendly face. The chefs came out to talk with us, it was delicious.“
“The service and online orders are usually correct I just would like with the app have a comment area for the smoothie n bowl like for smoothies make sure to put the sweet strawberries my husband got a unsweetened smoothie, other than that no issues orders ready on time and now I’m on a go go goji crunch bowl kick n loving it and the strawberry slim n trim with Greek yogurt is my go to smoothie choice n is always correct. Staff are nice.“
