“Today was excellent and should be complimented by all. Went to the restaurant to grab lunch. Ordered using the mi ole app. I thought what I ordered came with drinks I asked the gentleman in the window about my drinks. He told me I didn't order drinks with that code. He was right. But while I was searching the app;; he offered me small complimentary drinks for the inconvenience. Wow!!!! Afterwards my food came back made incorrectly. I proceeded to walk in the restaurant to address the mistake. The general manager was cleaning a window while the crew was busy with customers. One of the grill workers saw me with the sandwich and immediately acknowledged me. There was no fight or fuss....they simply wanted to make it right. And they did. As they were remaking my sandwich; I notice something I hadn't seen in years.......every one of the workers( young BLACK MEN, was in complete uniform with their shirts tucked in and belts. Their attitudes were phenomenal. The service was great and they deserve to be recognized. Mistakes are inevitable. I don't have an issue with their mistake... AT ALL! It was the way the handled me after I brought the mistake to their attention. They made it right..IMMEDIATELY! Without question. And the atmosphere of the restaurant was amazing! Hats off to the management and especially to those young men. They made me proud. They made my day. STRAWBERRY“

“We had Saturday afternoon lunch and it was great! Our server Rhett was friendly, knowledgeable and very helpful with us, as first time guests. The Mahi-mahi was fabulous, the catfish was the best we’ve ever had and the onion sticks are superb. To top it off, we tried the Peanut Butter pie and were quite impressed! This restaurant is worth the trip to Des Allemands, LA!“

“We were over the top with the entire meal. We started with the sampler appetizer and it was amazing. I had spaghetti and meatballs with the Italian house salad and my fiance had the meatball poboy. Everything was amazing and so delicious and the service was excellent. I have looked for an Italian restuarant to please my palate and have been disappointed but NO MORE, Gendusa's has met my expectations above and beyond!“

“Enjoyed dinner with my partner this evening, 11/24. Our server Alice was exceptional. She was attentive, checking on us often, quick, efficient, etc.
Towards the end of my visit, a couple was seated next to us at another booth, giving me a front row experience to the ridiculous behavior that occurred for the entire duration I remained there (no more than 15 minutes).
From an insult about Alice using the handheld device provided by Olive Garden, to trying to explain how to “properly” pour a beer, these guests were dreadful. There were multiple comments from the gentleman that would’ve easily not been tolerated at other establishments. Luckily for the guests, they had a server who was calm, cool, and collected even under the circumstances.
You’re at Olive Garden, not a Michelin Star restaurant. Check your expectations, and treat others with respect.
I hope that the Management prioritizes the experience of their employees, and backs them up when they deal with this type of unnecessary behavior.

“I mean it's the airport vino volo so you kind of know what to expect. The little market next store typically sells central grocery muffulettas but the fridge was broken and so was my heart. Anyway the muff at vino volo was good and the highlight was the nice service staff. They gotta fix that fridge next door.“
