More than one pool table would have been better but it's pretty small when compared to other bars in that area. I would definitely recommend stoppin by for a drink . “Looking for a 'Sports Bar' this popped up. Third on our list, but the first two were busts, so we slide on by.
Definitely NOT what I'd call a sports bar. We have time, order Sazeracs, try the Happy Hour Gumbo, later have their generous $5 House Old Fashioneds.

Everything was good, but the Gumbo was heavenly. Worth the trip just for that. Dark brown flavor filled broth, nicely shredded duck & slices of andouille. Perfection.
Had to move on for Seahawks, though.“

“Cozy, romantic, and super cool place. Came on a Wednesday night and saw a Cajun Jam. Small area to dance. I was very happy that they had Miller High Life in a bottle because it's my favorite and not sold in a lot of places.“

“This is one of the best bars in Downtown Lafayette and a big part of why this bar is so fun is that the bartenders take fantastic care of you! You get really top notch excellent service here that is fast and friendly. They always seem to be having a good time in this joint and you also have the option of the huge patio in the rear of this spot where you can have a totally different environment which is also lots of fun. Overall this is just a great spot where they take great care of you.“

“I was passing through town on my way from Houston to Jackson Mississippi and I stopped for gas in Lafayette, feeling pretty tired from driving and wanting to take a break and honestly I just needed a quick drink because I was on my way to a funeral and I was really stressed out with work and family and all that stuff leading up to this trip. So I’ve never even been to Lafayette but I stumbled upon this place after searching for a small bar were I could have a quiet drink and stretch my legs so I decided to give it a try. The people here were so nice and welcoming to a complete stranger who walked in late at night. I got to hear a lot of the local’s stories and learned some history about Lafayette and it was just over great. I didn’t know what to expect when I walked in but I’ll never forget this awesome little place and how kind they were. I felt a lot better after leaving and I’ll definitely stop again one day when I’m passing through Louisiana again.“

“We tried Central for the first time yesterday and were amazed at how delicious it was. The garlic knots were incredible, I think I’d go back purely for those. We tried the adult cheese pizza and it was awesome too.

I’ve heard about central pizza from so many people and I was so excited to go try for myself. It did not disappoint, and I will definitely be back soon.“

Clean, clam Atmosphere, yes you can sit inside at a table or go thruough there drive thru. It doesn't take the ladies long to make your order. Yes you will need your I.D. It's best if you leave your Straw out of your cup into you reach your Destination. Just to be safe on any drinking and driving laws.“

“Such a different place these days. An absolute 180 since Berry owned this place. I haven't been to Artmosphere in years because of it, but I can honestly say that the whole place now is a vibe. The new owner is obviously putting his entire heart and soul to not only the establishment but also to customer service and concern.

No smoking inside, no cut off shirts, no sagging pants. It doesn't get to loud inside, the atmosphere feels friendly and safe. The drinks where good, well made. I had (Sex on the beach) drink, it was perfect. We went as a big group, we had plenty of room to move around. Awesome place ti play pool.“
