“My daughter and I had breakfast this morning at the Waffle House in Carencro. The restaurant was extremely clean and well kept but most importantly their customer service was incredible. They were polite, professional and friendly. Props to Sarah Mae and the whole crew!“

“I took my kids and friend there on yesterday to celebrate my daughter’s birthday. After receiving our food, the waitress asked if everything was ok. I informed her that my shrimp was over cooked and was very hard to chew. She said she would inform the manager….we waited 8 minutes and no manager came. We watched him walk back and forth without ever acknowledging me. When the waitress passed back I asked her what did he say, she said oh, he said that how they cook it. Finally after 5 minutes or so he came, saw and said him self that my shrimp was overcooked and that he’ll be back. I waited and waited he never came back. I had the shrimp poboy that had a total of 5 and a half shrimp on it. It was like they took pieces of crust and stuck it between bread. My friend got up and stopped him to ask what’s going on because he never came back. He told her that I couldn’t be accommodated because I ate some it. They were all very unprofessional. I’ll never go back there. That definitely not how you handle business and the customer.“

“I searched places to eat on Google maps and chose to visit Zorbas which was approx a 4/5 min walk from the Doubletree hotel.
I walked in Zorbas and was pleasantly greeted by Esma. She was extremely helpful explaining the menu and went out her way to help me choose what was right for me. I was impressed with all the cuisine choices and chose the spicy feta cheese chicken. Awesome!
Von was fantastic in actually preparing this wonderful meal for take out (extra added). Esma gave me a sample to ensure what I ordered, was what I wanted to eat.
I highly recommend Zorbas and will definitely come back again and again!
Zorbas with the outstanding staff/food, was absolutely what I needed.
I appreciate the personal effort and quality of food that I received today.

“We went to Mel’s on Johnston St. this past Saturday. It was busier than usual but there was a visiting football team and their supporters in town. The crowd was loud, but everyone seemed happy. The food came out hot and was very fast! The food and the service was excellent! We love Mel’s and had another great experience!“

“This was the third time I’ve been to Piccadilly in the last 30 days. I’ve eaten something different each time and each time, the meal was delicious. I’m so pleased to have re-discovered the restaurant. Not only was the food delicious, the restaurant was clean and the staff was helpful and very friendly. “We called in our order and was told it would take about 20 minutes - this was accurate and we had no additional wait once we went to pick up. Got the Classic Fat Pat's as is and it comes with lettuce, tomato, and pickles, as well as the sauce. Additionally, the item comes with fries and I got those. You can substitute for an additional cost, but they definitely give enough fries with the burger in the to-go box. The meat is always cooked well and the bun is the best bun! I would highly recommend if you're looking for a burger and fry pairing.“

“It's a great bar with pools tables, music playing was great. Was there around 9:30pm on a Friday and it wasn't packed at all. 3 or 4 bartenders but only a few customers on one side of the bar, we sit on the otherside that was empty and it took me about 4 minutes to get a beer. We decided to go somewhere else so i finished my beer and waited forever just to pay. I was close to walking out without paying for my beer. The bartenders were all on the one side and never made eye contact my way. I could understand if it was really busy but it wasn't at all. But maybe just a bad night because I've had better experiences here in the past so I'll definitely try again.“
