“So I've come here a few times since they opened, but tonight was the first time I tried the double cheeseburger. I was surprised that it actually tasted like fresh meat cooked on the grill and not a frozen meat disc. I'll definitely be going back for another one. Fries, onion rings, hush puppies, and shrimp were all pretty good. And the portions were huge. We had plenty of food left over. The reason for the four stars is because they claim they serve catfish, like the people of Louisiana don't know any better. Come on guys. Ain't no way.”

“Checked out the new Bistro Italia location and we loved it! We ordered the tomato basil soup, Big Lou pizza, Shrimp Primavera, and Diablo shrimp. Everything came out hot, was delicious and you could tell the ingredients were fresh! The team was friendly, the atmosphere was upscale but still very comfortable, and the prices are very reasonable (sharing the menu pics for anyone curious). The updated restaurant is beautifully done. Also love that it’s a family owned and run restaurant.”

“Mezitos Mexican Restaurant is an absolute gem! The food is delicious, fresh, and clearly made with care — everything we ordered was outstanding. The atmosphere is welcoming and the restaurant is clean and comfortable, which made the whole experience even better.

What truly made our visit exceptional was our server, Blake. He was wonderful — attentive, friendly, and genuinely kind. He made sure we had everything we needed without ever feeling rushed and really added to an already great meal.

“I tried this place out recently after seeing it in BR for the longest time. My husband and I ended up at Floor & Decor, so I convinced him to try it with me. Let’s just say…. He found an excuse to go back without me since that day. Food was HOT, FLAVORFUL, hefty portion for the price and great service. I am personally looking for a reason to go back as soon as possible. Probably best I’ve had in BR to date!”

“A few of our African Violet group members took a day trip from the Mississippi Gulf Coast to attend the Louisiana Lagniappe African Violet Show and Sale. I moved from BR 9 years ago, and realized that the deli was in a great location near our destination. We were greeted by two very kind young ladies! We receive prompt, friendly service and a delicious lunch! I had the pasta salad, which was wonderful! Two of my friends got the lasagna, and they enjoyed it too! Thank you for such a great dining experience! My friends all enjoyed it too!”
