“Super place for breakfast. We loved everything we ordered. We had bread pudding pancakes and they were very special and not overly sweet. Poached eggs with pork and shrimps were amazing, as well as shrimp and grits. The service was fast and servers friendly and helpful“

“First note... Make an appointment or be prepared to wait. So we showed up without a appointment at the peach of bruch so we waited about 45 minutes maybe close to an hour. It was worth it . We had French toast bites, shrimp and grits, mimosas flights, bloody Mary with bacon. Everything tasted amazing. The service was quick and the host nice.“

“This place is a Hidden GEM❣Fun place Perfect! Perfect food! I was torn between the French toast and the shrimp and grits...but they offer smaller portions as sides; perfect! The owner is a superb artist and it shows inside and out! This is me, Zora the cook and Daisy (the magical flying pig :-)“

“We went yesterday and the wait was 2 hours. Got there a little earlier today and we got in. I’ve eaten at the Uptown location and was so happy they opened up another one that’s closer. It was my daughter’s first time and she said the food is so good and understands why there is a wait.“

“I don’t take my 11 month old out to eat often but they made it soo easy for us. They were quick in getting his food to us and even though I offered, they wouldn’t let us clean up after him. The buser even came over to interact with our kiddo. It was a really nice experience and made taking him out very enjoyable.“

“The food is soooooo good. The best brunch menu in Nola. Tried most things and it always slaps. Service is great.-1 for no reservations and long waits. I have no idea why they don’t give both the overworked hosts and customers a break by having a more streamlined res/waitlist system. Attempting Bearcat on the weekend is a competitive sport. Is it a reverse psychology thing? Like knowing you probably won’t get in so you want it even more? Having waited in the sun for an hour so the mimosas are extra refreshing? Lmk!“

“Stopped at the Mid City Ruby Slipper while visiting New Orleans for the week. I had the strawberry & almond pancakes and they were quite tasty. My friends all had the southern breakfast which they all enjoyed. We had the lemon blueberry beignets as a breakfast appetizer, they were tasty but tiny. Prices were OK, considering the location, and the service was very good, server was friendly. Don’t get to NO often but would stop again. Enjoyable experience.“

“Best place for breakfast! Visited on multiple days of our trip. Delicious, homemade from scratch, creative and healthy options. The Interior decor is bright, uplifting and happy. Love the very comfortable green chairs. (not your standard wobbly wood seating). The service is outstanding: efficient and friendly.“

“We stumbled upon Monty's during our short stay in NOLA. We really only had one day to fully experience the French Quarter, and it happened to be during the French Quarter Fest. I wanted to make sure we were able to try some of the truly regional, authentic cuisine. Monty's did not disappoint! Ambiance was nice, service was stellar, food was amazing. My partner had Jambalaya and I had Red Beans and rice (with fried chicken instead of sausage). Portions were huge, food was piping hot, flavors were incredible. We ordered some of the fun cocktails from the drink menu, but for me it was a bit "young" and too sugary/acidic. It didn't spoil the experience at all, and we were given some cute plastic souvenir cups to take our remaining drinks for the road. Even if you only have time for one meal in the French Quarter, I would definitely recommend Monty's!“

“Good breakfast restaurant but not the best. A lot of options both- in vegetarian and seafood. Drinks are nice, Irish coffee has a good bourbon punch. Not a lot of wait time even on the weekends. You get to pick sitting inside or outside. Parking is available on the streets right in front. Wheelchair accessible.Food: 3.5/5Ambiance: 3.5/5Value for “
