“One of my go to spots. The food and service is always excellent- patience, smiles and kindness. My family loves the smothered okra, cabbage, hot sausage and cornbread. The hog's head cheese is also really good. Highly recommended, it is a true taste of New Orleans.“

“My first time here in New Orleans visiting heard about the famous Muffuletta sandwich and wanted to try it I picked Verti Marte a quaint but small friendly establishment! The sandwich did not disappoint very tasty huge in size I got mine warmed I will definitely go back when I visit to again 😄“

“Popped in cause I was hungry and had time to kill. So glad I did! They are friendly, quick, they load you down and it's affordable. I got a BLT but the chocolate fritter, bear claw things were quite the sirens call. Next time. Cause there will be a next time! lol I need to try the sliders.“

“I'm actually really impressed with the customer service in here, given that l know it's in a very busy location with lots of obnoxious people. Nothing fancy, just a hello and thank you, which is all one needs to have a pleasant shopping experience. Goes to show you it CAN be done, even in New Orleans. Thanks guys!“
“I'm leaving a 5 star rating here although 3-4 would be justified but my mood the moment I ate my sandwich is simply unforgettable. I had previously bought a muffin from PJ's downstairs that just didn't fill me up. We wanted to go on a boat tour and I was afraid that I would starve :-D
My husband said I should get something here and I refused because I just didn't like the look of this store. Then I reluctantly decided to take another look at what I could eat here. I saw a woman making a sandwich. I followed her example and asked for a meatless sandwich with the ingredients I wanted.
It was so simple but simply delicious! It was honest and I won't forget this culinary delight!“
“I discovered Manhattan Deli and grocery a few weeks ago while driving home one day and I have been in love with it ever since. Mr. Moses is an amazing cook and such a friendly guy. This dish I have is gyro with rice and a side salad. It was amazing and I will be getting it again in the future!! Please give these good folks your business you will not be disappointed because the food is amazing!!!“

“This ham did not live up to my expectations. I followed the instructions on reheating and made sure to apply the topping on the slices. It's good but I was expecting more. However still one of the better hams I have served to my family so I give it 4 stars. If I were asked where it could be improved I would suggest they somehow have the glaze in between the slices. Or give extra glaze to bring home with purchase of ham.“

“They have some really good seafood. Boiled crawfish, shrimp, snow crabs, blue crabs, potatoes, sausage, Turkey necks, corn on the cob, any type of poboy you want, gumbo, anything your heart desires. They also sell fresh seafood. Vietnamese owner and nice people. I choose them over Cajuns anyway. I love staying right around the corner from them.“
