“My daughter has wanted me to come for a while now and today was my first ever visit. I love that there were “secret cookies” my daughter didn’t know existed! So I got to surprise her and that was nice. I will say these cookies seemed underdone to me at first but it could just be that they’re meant to be soft. We bought a big pack and the young lady up front this morning was able to tell me every detail of what I was looking at when picking the cookies. She also had excellent customer service! It was just so nice overall and I will be coming back!“

“Just wanted to drop by and say that we had an amazing experience at Turgeau's this morning. Our youngest son is newly diagnosed with celiac disease and just starting to feel better. Going out for a meal causes some nervousness but he REALLY wanted pancakes (I just miss having pancakes 😔). Not only were the staff well educated on cross contamination precautions, they were also very helpful with making sure his selections were safe. Plus, they have a catering menu for Christmas dinner. Now, I am from Mississippi from everyone smiles and is chipper but I was told the Louisiana folks are very straight forward and get to the punch!
And that is just what this little shop does.
Has the cutest souvenirs if that is your thing (it's mine!) and the beignets are good!
We get the frozen coffee and it hit the spot every time.
Our girls are picky and didn't like the beignets, and the asked if it was the quality. That tells me that are interested in the feed back.
