“My family loves this store. Great variety of food. The kolaches are awesome. The custom king cakes during carnival season are stupendous. The best part of this store is the kind staff who care about their customers (said hi to me in another store when we were shopping). Can’t recommend highly enough“

“Very nice lady. The boudin kolache is very good, and there is a good selection of savory breakfast sandwiches and kolaches. Donut selection was limited, but there is a sign on the door stating that they are short staffed, so that may be why and that may also change. Recommend this place for a quick stop to grab breakfast (sweet and/or savory) and coffee on the way to work or the deer stand. They open at 5 AM. Better than most if not all the fast food places, and probably actually faster.“

For dessert I got a King Cake donut and a apple fritter. King Cake was delicious going to get that again. The apple fritter was sort of dry. Also they make King Cake pastries out of season. Super cool. Love King Cake. Most bakeries only have them for Mardi Gras.“

“I absolutely love King Kake King. Our office orders every year. This year, we ordered a strawberry/cream cheese and a lemon. I cut the cakes into one inch slices. The filling was gushing out as I cut each time. I've never seen so much filling in a king cake before! The cake was moist and flaky! It was covered with icing and purple, green, and gold sugar. My co-workers said that it was the best king cake they've ever had. Don't listen to bad reviews! You must try these cakes for yourself. If you EVER have any problem with your cake at all, just call them and they will make it right. My office devoured the cakes in about 30 minutes.“
