“This place is a hidden gem! The staff is committed to providing top notch service to their customers. I came in looking for some of their incredible cake donuts with strawberries and blueberries on top (yes- a donut with fresh fruit on top- yum!), and when they didn’t have any in the display case they offered to custom make them for me. While the girls were decorating my donuts, the other customers in the shop were all discussing how this shop is has the best service in town. Amazing donuts and top notch service- kudos to the owner for understanding that his employees are the heart and soul of this wonderful local business!“

“We have frequent this shop for many years. The donuts taste great and the selection is varied. You have to make sure to go early though so you can choose from their wide selection. Always a pleasure to buy my donuts here even though it may not be that frequent (I have to watch my figure 😀)!“

“Grabbed a burger and fries and can of soda right after I got here and it was SO GOOD. The burger had more flavor in the first bite than most burgers have as a whole. Hand to bible. I left with 2 donuts for dessert and I couldn’t love them more. Nothing like a nice fluffy old fashion donut! The employee working (owner?) was super down to earth and personable. Anyone that came in felt like a regular, it was so comforting to see that kind of kindness and community. Awesome place. I hope I have time to stop by before I leave!“

“I came to love Nolita after someone recommended their King Cake at the King Cake Hub right after Covid and I never looked back. By far the tastiest confection I’ve ever had. That brown butter satsuma glaze is to die for. Perfection to say the least. Everything I’ve eaten from the display case has been so delicious.“

“I didn't even get to eat my food right away, but when I did eat it- it was bomb! I mean I had to microwave it and it was still THAT GOOD! I had the Grits bowl with chicken sausage, my eggs over medium and a side of hash browns. Listen, if you can microwave grit and they maintain their creamy integrity- somebody doin' it right!“

“4 stars. One of the best donuts I have tasted. It melts in your mouth and ita not to sweet. Doesn't leave the sugar crumbs everywhere. Its definitely delicious but I took one star away for the price. Its worth being more expensive than other donuts but not 2xs more I was charged $20 for a dozen when I get a dozen from any where for less than $13 different states and countries. Its the most expensive I've ever encountered. Yes the taste is GREAT but for the price I wont recommend or re visit.“

She was so upset because we are 5 hours away and she was starting school this week. I called the next morning and they located the bag and overnighted it to us! What a blessing! That is great customer service.“

“I ordered the Hungry Man's Stack. They have very good big thick pancakes, perhaps the best. The eggs and hash browns were as expected and the portion tamed this hungry man. So much so that I couldn't fit that good looking apple fritter calling to me. Maybe next time.“

“I woke up and saw a review on Tik Tok when I was looking for breakfast. Heard the review on the shrimp and grits. My heart was set on that. When I got there, they were out of shrimp so….chicken and beignets it is. Listen!!! Let me tell you, them glazed beignets had me wanted to drive back to MS to slap my mama for not taking me there before. My Goodness!!!! Cafe du who? I will never eat Cafe du Monde again! And because I wanted a little of everything, I had the pecan glazed ones too. I just ate them for a snack. They are so good, even cold! Definitely on my list to return. Had to take a picture of the building so I will know where to return.“

“Y’all HAVE to check out Joe's Cafe on North Causeway! I went on a Friday morning and the cook, Candis, made the most amazing omelet I’ve ever had ,!!!!! you can literally taste the love in every bite. I didn’t even know her name at first, but it was so good I had to ask around!

“Great atmosphere! I ordered an iced latte and a “SAMOA” donut, and they were really good. The donut was really big, and the coconut chips paired perfectly with it. However, it was a little too sweet for me to finish the whole thing. The coffee tasted good, but the aroma was a bit light for me. Totally I would like to try others next time.“

“My first experience at a Cafe Du Monde was at this location a few days ago. The staff was extremely kind and the environment was calm even though it is located inside the mall. It was a good break from the mall environment and super cute! The beignets were delicious, I can understand why they are a staple! Thank you for your kind hospitality to the Cafe Du Monde staff at this location! We appreciate you all!“

“They have the best mochi donuts ever!! Every mochi donut I’ve ever tasted has a sickeningly sweet icing on top, unless I get a plain one with just powdered sugar. They do have that “beignet” style donut as well which was delicious. The donut quality themselves had a perfect light and chewy texture and are made of 100% rice flour for the GLUTEN-FREE folks out there. I was hesitant about getting the flavored glazed style ones, but I did since it was buy 3 get 1 free. I’m so glad I did too! I got dark chocolate hersheys and peanut butter, and they ended up being my favorite ones. Not too sweet at all and the chocolate was delicious and melty and not cold hard icing like other places.
The Korean fried chicken is the best in this city too! The soy garlic flavor was perfectly balanced, the chicken was juicy and crispy, and the fries with the cheese powder on top were super good and crispy as well!!
The lady behind the counter was so friendly! I have nothing but good things to say about this place! I hope more people find out about Mochi Machi to keep them in business!“
